We of the Silver Valley Veterans Memorial Committee want to thank all the good people who supported the raffle by purchasing tickets and to those many wonderful businesses and individuals who donated items for the Silent Auction.

The first prize was a Rifle was won by Steve Bristow of Kellogg, second prize was a Sun Dolphin Kayak won by Suzanne Evans of Mullan, third prize of $200 cash was won by Todd Sheppard of Kellogg, congratulations to all.

The care and function of our Silver Valley Memorial is very important to us, all proceeds from this event will go towards purchasing another Wall of Honor for our Veterans and any upkeep for the memorial. The raffle and silent auction was held this last Saturday evening at the Veterans Memorial hall in Kellogg, it was a huge success due in part by those who helped organize the event, thanks for all your help.

We also would like to send out an invitation to all World War II Veterans still living in our area, to participate in the upcoming Veterans Day program, held every year on Nov. 11 at 11 a.m. to commemorate our Veterans.
