Beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great grandmother, Shirley Yvonne Madrid, 87, of Elizabeth Park- Kellogg, passed away October 6, 2018 at the Schneidmiller House (Hospice House) of Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho. She was born February 7, 1931 in Long Beach, California; Shirley was the daughter of Theodore R. and Mabel M. (Robison) Payton.

Shirley has lived in the Silver Valley for most of her life. She attended and graduated from the Wallace High School in 1949. In the late 1960’s, Shirley attended the North Idaho Junior College of Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho.

Shirley was united in marriage to Felix V. Madrid in September of 1968 in Coeur d’ Alene.; Felix passed away on January 18, 2011.

Shirley was a wonderful homemaker; her family meant the world to her. She was a great cook and baker, she also loved and enjoyed crocheting, reading and cribbage. Shirley had also served as an Avon representative for many years.

Shirley was a member of the American Lutheran Church of Kellogg and a member of TOPS.

Shirley is survived by five children Lonnie Lee Fausett of Spokane, Washington, Robert (Debbie) Fausett of Nampa, Idaho, Richard Fausett of Lodi, California, Elena Madrid and Duane Nelson of Spokane, Washington and Dean (Sara) Madrid of Elizabeth Park- Kellogg; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; she is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Felix, three children Ronald Wayne Fausett, William Vance Fausett and Ted Dale Fausett; two brothers Don and Wayne Payton.

Inurnment Graveside Services for both Shirley and her husband Felix will be held on Friday, October 12, 2018, at 11:00 A.M. at the Greenwood Cemetery of Kellogg with Rev. Alec Rivera officiating.

The Family suggests that memorials may be made to Hospice of North Idaho, 2290 W. Prairie Ave. Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho 83815.
