As summer fades into the sunset, look forward to another kind of sunset this fall.

I’ve already told you that my favorite type of beers are red ales.
Something about the perfect balance of malty flavors, mellow sweetness, and just a touch of hoppy bitterness really makes a drink.
The pleasant red color also doesn’t hurt.
North Idaho Mountain Brewing’s (NIMB) Sunset Irish Red (ABV: 6.7 percent, IBU 31) goes down this check list of deliciousness and marks every box.
The prominent malty tastes present with this beverage come from the use of a pilsner base grain, then roasted barley and caramel 60 to give it a mild sweet taste and that health red glow.
Also thrown into the mix are bitter orange peels to give it a very subtle citrus bite and three different types of oats to give the drink a fuller body.
Top that off with subtle hop flavors from cascade and centennial hops, and you have yourself a beer to kick back and enjoy the fall season with.
The sunset has even been said by some drinkers to have mild chocolate/ coffee notes, but this depends entirely on your pallet.
You can pick up a Sunset Irish Red at City Limits Pub & Grill, located at 108 Nine Mile Road in Wallace.
