Hello folks, election season is coming up

We have a very important election coming up in 2020. If you want to have any rights at all you better register to vote, and then Vote.

We are at a place where someone coming into the workforce doesnít have a chance of succeeding. They have no vehicle to save any money to advance their success in life. A savings account doesnít even pay 1 percent interest. In addition to that rent, and everyday expenses are at record levels. All of these corporations that just got their taxes cut to 21 percent, want everyone to start out at starvation wages.

On top of that, they wonít give any benefits. Our government is in the pocket of all these big corporations, so they are not going to help you out one bit. I think it is crazy when the richest person in the world pays zero taxes. That would be the owner of Amazon.

Your Republican friends want to cut your social security, Medicare benefits so they can help pay for their tax breaks to the rich and powerful. We have had three Republican presidents give the rich big tax cuts that were supposed to pay for themselves. It didnít happen and never will.

We have a government that can always find money for these big tax breaks for the rich, or bail out banks and big corporations, take us to war, but they canít find the money to pay your social security or Medicare benefits that you paid for your whole working life. You are expected to go through life living like a peasant, so all of your politicians can continue making government benefits for the wealthy only.

We need to take back our government from the rich and powerful, and start governing for the people, not big corporations. That wonít happen until we get off our butt and vote all these old men and women out of office. They have spent decades stealing your money and giving it to the rich and powerful.

We have a president who has surrounded himself with the biggest crooks in the world. The American people just sit by and let all these crooked politicians take everything and give us nothing.

I suggest that we demand that election day be made a federal holiday so no one has an excuse not to vote. Every person born in this country should be registered to vote on their 18th birthday, and be expected to vote. We need to have a paper trail of every personís vote in every state. We should be required to put our thumb print on the register when we vote, and a thumb print on the ballot in front of the person taking the ballot before it goes in the ballot box. Folks if we donít do something to turn things around, none of us will be able to live the American Dream.
