• Silver Mountain Resort opening day. Due to low snow levels, no skiing or boarding on the weekend. The gondola will be spinning for scenic rides and locker move-ins.

• Christmas Tree Lighting Festival in Kellogg. Craft fair at Kellogg Middle School from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Parade at 5 p.m. in uptown Kellogg. Pictures with Santa from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Staff House Museum. Tree lighting at 6:30 p.m.

• Wallace Senior Center pinochle night at 6 p.m. at the Senior Center, 621 Cedar St., Wallace.

• Set Free AA group at 4 p.m. at the Kingston Baptist Church, Kingston.

• Free Community Dinner at Real Life Ministries from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 10 S. Division St., Pinehurst.


• Kellogg Elks Bingo at 6:30 p.m. at the Elks building in Kellogg. Doors open at 5:30 p.m.

• Kellogg community blood drive from 1-4:30 p.m. at the Kellogg Elks Lodge, 202 McKinley Ave., Kellogg.

• Bunker Hill workers meeting at noon Timbers Road House in Cataldo.

• It Club after school program from 1:45-3 p.m. at the Pinehurst library. Kids are invited for a program that does “it” all — from science and technology to art and exploration. Each It Club is a new adventure. Geared toward kids K-5. Snacks provided.

• Mom mingle from 9:30-11 a.m. at Cornerstone Church, 106 S. Fourth St., Osburn. Weekly topics, guest speakers, lessons and devotions shared by fellow moms.

• Small Miracles NA group meeting at 7:30 p.m. at the VFW Hall, Osburn.

• Little Renaissance Kids storytime from 10-11 a.m. at the Pinehurst library. Spend time exploring weekly topics from the world of fine art, math and science, world cultures, nature and more.

• Love and Tolerance Womens group of AA meeting at 6 p.m. in the Shoshone Medical Center cafeteria, Kellogg. Does not meet on the fourth Wednesday of the month.

• Wallace Planing and Zoning meeting at 6 p.m. at City Hall.

• Wallace High School girls basketball at home vs. St. Maries High School. Varsity tip-off at 7 p.m. JV at 5:30 p.m.


• Silver Valley career fair from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Osburn VFW, 318 E. Mullan Ave., Osburn. What to expect: Skill assessment, help with resumes and professional head shot taken. Meet with potential employers and volunteer organizations. All things employment and higher learning.

• Shoshone County Democrats meeting at 7:15 p.m. at the Osburn Senior Center.

• Jackass AA group meeting at 7:30 p.m. in the Shoshone Medical Center cafeteria, Kellogg.
