Violet Mae Hise passed away peacefully on March 17, 2019 with her family by her side. Vi was born on September 2, 1933 to Alf and Grace Pearce in Wallace, Idaho. Married to Al Hise in 1952, they remained residents of the Silver Valley until the 90s when they moved to Coeur d’ Alene. After 63 years of marriage, when Al passed away in 2015, Violet lived with her daughter and her family in Mead, Washington until her death.

Sandra Kay Madsen, age 78, passed away peacefully on March 13, 2019, at the Strand Kjorsvig Community Rest Home in Roslyn, South Dakota. She was born March 19, 1941 to Allen and Opal Fuller in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Sandra grew up in Tulsa, Oklahoma where she attended public school. Sandra was a spunky, hard-working mother of 5, diligently sewing clothes for her children, and putting food on the table. Sandra resided at 503 West Fork Pinecreek Road, Pinehurst, Idaho with her husband Eugene Madsen and her children: Bob Madsen, Becky (Madsen) Nordquist, Billy Madsen, Henry Madsen, and Peter Madsen before they moved to Wilmot, South Dakota in 1977. She remained in Eden, South Dakota till the time of her death.

Mary Jean Hinkemeyer 4/8/34 - 3/16/19
Mary Jean (or Mrs. H/Coach as many affectionately called her) was born in Walker, MN to Perry and Lila Smith. She was the youngest of 3 siblings. When she wasn’t busy doing chores around their place on Child Lake, she was active playing basketball the only sport that was available for women at the time. Her love of sports was catalyst to being a dedicated teacher and a coach for thirty-two years. She was instrumental in the establishment of girls’ athletics in Northern Idaho. Mary Jean spent most of her career at Kellogg, ID teaching junior high and high school, and starting the girls track, volleyball, and basketball programs. In sixteen years of coaching track, her teams won 60 dual meets, 12 invitational meets, six district titles and the 1985 state championship.

Terri A. Matthews, age 51, passed away on Sunday, November 4, 2018. She was born February 19th, 1967, in Seattle WA. She was a graduate of Newport High School and Washington State University. Her various jobs included a skiing, snowboarding, and river rafting guide, teaching avalanche survival, property manager and physical therapist. Terri truly lived life to the fullest through her love for the outdoors; snowboarding, snowmobiling, kayaking, river rafting, mountain biking, and spending time with her son and friends. Terri had an uncanny ability to reach people in a deep and positive way. She is survived by her son, Evan; brothers, Mark and Michael Rengstorff and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Family, friends, and others whose lives Terri touched are invited to a celebration of life at 1 p.m. on Saturday March 23 2019, at the Real Life Ministries 10 South Division Street, Pinehurst, ID 83850 to reminisce, grieve, and most importantly support each other though this difficult time.

Connie Kay Bell passed away on February 19, 2019. Connie was born in Des Moines, IA on November 29, 1942. She was preceded in death by her parents Elmo and Marie Bell. Her brother Jack Bell and son Kevin Sauer. She will be sadly missed by her dog Taz, brothers Jet (Marilyn) and Arther Bell both of Post Falls ID.
