Jerry was born Aug. 24, 1941, in Pitcher, Okla. Jerry was the son of the late Walter and Opal (Wilson) Sharp

Jerry met the love of his life, Oriel Turner, and on June 30, 1977, they were united in marriage in Pioche, Nev. Together they raised six children.

Jerry had an adventures spirit for the outdoors. He loved going to hunting camp with his family and close friends. He also loved fishing and always had a story to tell about the one that got away.

Jerry was a talented wood worker. He enjoyed repurposing old barn wood and building custom furniture for family and friends. Jerry also enjoyed playing golf with his buddies ... but at the end of the day, Jerry loved nothing more than tending to the garden with his wife, Oriel.
