• Disturbance at Kellogg Middle School. Student did not want to go to school and would not exit parents' vehicle. After speaking with all parties including school officials, arrangements were made for student to return home and come back during lunch. Public assist.

• Landline regarding questions on crash report (landline was from Department of Transportation with questions regarding location).

• Relayed a possible stolen plate found in Oregon belonging to a Kellogg resident. Cleared, investigation ongoing.

• Dispatched to a fight in progress on Bunker Avenue. Parties were separated, peace was restored, and a report was created. This took place at the local hotel parking lot. A couple parked and dented a vehicle next to them when exiting their rig. The couple in the other vehicle did not like this much and an argument ensued. Well, it was verbal until someone got called a crack head and the fight was on. Nothing super major occurred because they were separated very quick by others on scene. All parties involved were OK.

• Disturbance 400 block of W. Portland. Reported to be a verbal altercation between neighbors, canceled before making contact with anyone, as it was a dog that escaped a yard and the parties have had issues in the past. They did not want to make contact today; however, it was completed without incident.

• Landline regarding status of investigation, passed along to investigating officer's voicemail.

• Landline regarding a welfare check-Welfare check completed as well as landline back, everything was code 4.

• Threats call 700 block of Bunker. RP receiving mail with no return address saying not-so-nice things. Nothing that constitutes a crime at this time. Gave ideas of how to proceed as well as advised to keep and document. Should these letters keep coming, we could then look into stalking.

• Dispatched to the 600 block of W. Cameron Avenue for an unwanted subject. Individual left the property after politely asked to leave. The individual was the gentleman that K79 actually bought a room for the other night and the one who has been wondering around town for a few weeks now. Apparently, he had used up his welcome at the Silver Inn and they refused to give him a room again. Lenin was upset with me, as well as our department, because according to the drifter, we as a department have failed to get him into a permanent residence. The drifter told K77 it is our responsibility to take care of him. Yea…swell guy.

• School patrol Bunker Avenue.

• Harassment at 500 block N. Division. After gathering information, this was regarding Facebook posts. Inspected the post and there was nothing criminal about it. Advised to contact Facebook to flag the post or block the post to no longer see it. Unfounded.

• Traffic stop on I-90 near milepost 49. Verbal warning for cell phone use (location of incident: W. Cameron and Bunker).

Be happy, be safe, the snow is still on Alhambra — don’t plant that garden yet.
