Kellogg Police Department Roll Call: Nov. 3-10

It's that time of year again. Please remove all non running vehicles off the streets along with all RV’s, campers and trailers. Patrols will be tagging said vehicle for removal.

• Landline regarding a civil standby from the earlier domestic. Cleared, individual will call back when the other party is home.

• Extra patrol request for the 100 block of E. Riverside.

• Taser training.

• Landline regarding property from K79's drunk tank from last night. Cleared, referred to other agency.

• Welfare check 200 block W. Cameron. Cleared, individuals were code 4.

• VIN inspection 100 block Cathryn. Cleared, public assist.

• Dispatched to a civil standby 400 block of Bunker. Cleared, the second party wasn't home — advised the RP to call again when the individual is home.

• K78 also rode the lightning… “0 out of 5 stars, would not go again…”

• Report(s) — in custody report delivered to Prosecutor/Court.

• Scheduled appointment for patrol vehicle.

• SWET — E-citation updates.

• Checked on abandoned vehicles up for tow — all have been moved (not towed) and cleared from the board.

• Worked on tasers and taser data.

• Follow up on malicious injury to property case.

• Hit and run in the 600 block of Bunker Avenue. Report taken.

• Landline regarding located property — this was regarding property we have and have already found. Subject will be calling Shoshone County Sheriff's Office dispatch when they are back in Kellogg for the property to be returned.

• Follow-up on welfare check from prior shift. Outside agency made contact with the subject and they reported being fine. All entities were notified.

• Dispatched to 911 hang-up 600 block of bunker. Cleared, individual's code 4, juvenile playing with the phone.

• Returned found property 400 block of W. Mullan.

• Assisted county with a traffic stop 800 block W. Cameron. Cleared, other agency assist.

• Called to some suspicious teen in the area of Railroad and S. Division Street. Said teen could not be located upon arrival.

• Dispatched to a suspicious person on the 100 block of W. Idaho Ave. Checked the area and was unable to locate such activity.

• Called to the 200 block of west Mullan for a report of a dog bite-report taken.

• Called to the parking lot of the Amy Lynn's for a suspicious male looking into cars. The male was identified and arrested on two outstanding warrants out of Shoshone County.

• Called to the 600 block of W. Park Avenue for an out-of-control female. Female was gone prior to my arrival.

• Called to the 600 block of Bunker for a noise complaint. Cleared, peace restored.

• Assisted K75 with an out of control person on the 600 block of W. Park. Cleared, agency assist.

• Assisted county with a traffic stop on Hill and McKinley. Cleared, other agency assist.

• Assisted K75 with a suspicious person on the 100 block of E. Portland. Cleared, agency assist.

• Disturbance of a male yelling on the 100 block of E. Riverside. Cleared, UTL.

• Called to the 500 block of Riverside for a suspicious person, said person ended up in a house that wasn't theirs. Same person who did this in Smelterville the day before. Said individual was not happy when K76 showed up, they were taken into custody for unlawful entry and resist/obstruct.

• County assist in Kingston. Medical call with a combative patient. Cleared as soon as county arrived.

• Called to the 10 block of N. Division for a possible sexual harassment. Cleared, investigation ongoing.

• Patrol vehicle to Dave Smith for service (musical cars begins).

• Worked on SWET laws/issues — looked into correcting current issues the courts are finding.

• Paperwork to court/prosecutor.

• Follow-up on Mal Injury case from last week — this will be ongoing as the damaged property is specialty only and in the process of finding the vendor to contact for estimate.

• Worked on obtaining Taser supplies for us and Osburn PD as well (missing hooks to attach the target to stand for the newly acquired target).

• Disturbance on E. Idaho. Vehicles driving behind the caller's house. Negative contact with any vehicle behind his house.

• Paperwork to the court house.

• School patrol Bunker Avenue.

• Landline request — regarding child custody issues/questions — same parties as yesterday — same result = civil.

• Worked on equipment appropriations.

• Landline regarding questions about landlord/tenant questions and/or issues — questions went into being able to be in possession of a firearm, believing someone may be a felon in possession of firearm. Not enough information given at this time to run criminal history (nothing showing Idaho to prevent possession at this time). Mostly a civil matter.

• Landline regarding attempted break-in / after making contact, this occurred out in the county — referred to other agency.

• Lockdown drill at Kellogg High School.

• Abandoned vehicle paperwork.

• Placed a male husky in the pound from the 500 block of Riverside.

• School Patrol. Bunker Avenue.

• Civil standby about Child custody exchange on the 600 block of W. Cameron. Cleared, public assist.

• Evidence and reports.

• Missing person to be reported — ended up finding person and they are not missing. Public assist.

• Welfare check — 100 block W. Mullan — subject was good and family notified.
