Kellogg Police Department Roll Call: Nov. 10-17

• Civil standby about child custody exchange on the 600 block of W. Cameron. Cleared, public assist.

• Disturbance in the 200 block of E. Cameron Avenue. Everything was code 4 on arrival and the issue was resolved before K76 arrived.

• Citizen contact at the dog pound for a male attempting to find his dog.

• Assisted K75 with a disturbance in the 300 block of W. Mission. Cleared, agency assist.

• Assisted K75 with a suspicious person in the 100 block of Vergobbi. Cleared, agency assist.

• Disturbance 300 block of W. Mission malicious injury to property. Cleared, report taken.

• Assisted Idaho State Police with a traffic stop Cameron and Price. Cleared, other agency assist.

• Assisted county with a disabled motorist at Hill and Bunker. Cleared, vehicle pushed out of roadway.

• Assisted K75 with traffic stop W. Park and McKinley. Cleared, agency assist.

• Called to the 300 block of E. Market for an animal complaint, unable to locate the dogs.

• Assisted K75 with a traffic stop on the 300 block of S. Division. Cleared, agency assist.

• Mobile patrols of Kellogg, including during the city-wide (half the county) power outage.

• Report of threats at 800 block W. Cameron. Two juveniles involved, report taken.

• Report of a possible battery at 100 block N. Hill Street. After interviews, victim did not want to pursue anything criminally and even went as far as removing the trespass (more verbal than physical from the sounds of it anyway), report taken.

• Landline request regarding malicious Injury to property. Third party caller wanting to know how to file the complaint, advised the victim would need to report it for investigation to take place, they called back later and this was taken by K79.

• Assisted county in Smelterville with an alarm going off at the lumber mill. Cleared the area without locating anything nefarious. Agency assist.

• Conducted follow-up interviews on the threats (assault) call from earlier due to juveniles involved once parents were able to be present for interviews.

• Assisted county with a robbery in Kingston. Cleared, other agency assist.

• Landline request regarding malicious injury to property. Cleared, report taken.

• Evidence work. Items from lab back to evidence room.

• Lunch patrol Bunker Avenue.

• Abandoned paper work.

• It might be windy out, but not sure.

• Follow-up on active investigations (as well as for other officers).

• Agency assist. Make notification of release of inmate from Kootenai County, notification was made without incident.

• Assist Osburn and County with attempting to locate missing juvenile out of Osburn. Checked Silver Valley Road from Kellogg to Moon Gulch, unable to locate. Juvenile was later found in Osburn (earlier report was subject was on foot heading west to Kellogg).

• Assist county with locating a possible stolen vehicle in Kellogg at 300 block McKinley. Vehicle located and eventually located person of interest. Civil issue, not criminal.

• Word from the Chief: “Extra patrol requested on RailRoad Avenue at the old health and welfare building (for those of you too young to remember health and welfare being on RailRoad Avenue, it is the building to the west of the bank).”

• Dog call on Brown Ave and then I-90. Two dogs running around not wanting to be taken to jail. Then they just ghosted never to be seen again. Cleared, unable to catch.

• Illegal dumping on the city right away between Riverside and Mission. Verbal warning given with the request to clean up the trash.

• Morning school patrol Bunker Avenue.

• Follow up on an old case for the PA office.

• Skol. See now they have my hopes up again just to crush them like this week.

• Verbal domestic in the area of I90 near milepost 51. Was able to locate 1 party as the other party left in a vehicle. This was not physical and ISP assisted in transporting subject to Osburn to residence. Report taken for information purposes.

• Theft at Liquor store. Investigation under way, male subject entered store and left with a bottle (pint) of Fireball. Believe suspect is known, just a matter of tracking down. Report taken.

• Assist Pinehurst PD with medical call that got transferred to SMC (combative intoxicated person), the person was eventually taken to public safety building for detox (Pinehurst).

• Assist Pinehurst with aggravated assault. Subject pointed a rifle at persons. Cancelled prior to arrival, bounty hunters were serving a warrant, but were able to get the subject in custody.

• Citizen contact at KPD regarding Shop with a Cop. Cleared, public assist.

• Landline at KPD regarding a traffic accident at lookout. Cleared, referred to other agency.

• Dispatched to a civil standby, 100 block W. Idaho. Cleared, public assist.

• Assisted Pinehurst with an out-of-control patient at Shoshon Medical Center. Cleared, other agency assist.

• Assisted K79 with a 911 hang-up 100 block W. Mission. Cleared, agency assist.

• Disturbance of people being loud in a basement on the 100 block of W. Idaho. Cleared, NAT.

• Mr. Shoot-through-walls is back in town and still convinced that Paul is in his walls.

• Threats at 300 block Cedar. After collecting information, no actual threats were made (family upset with other family over relationship) — all completed electronically and advised one party to block the other. Unfounded.

• Welfare check — Hill and Railroad area for an elderly male subject carrying bags. Went through entire area of Railroad and Hill Street. Unable to Locate.

• Traffic stop at W. Cameron and Hill, written warning for headlight.

• Traffic stop at W. Cameron and Price. Verbal warning for no parking allowed (locksmith pulled over to use cell phone, unfortunately this was yellow at curb).

• Landline regarding a woman whose husband locked his keys and his phone in his vehicle at the gondolier. Cleared, Locksmith had been called before my arrival, no help needed.

• Landline regarding a civil power issue 200 block of E. Cameron. Cleared, civil.
