Ronald Norman Freer, 69

Ronald Norman Freer, 69, of Mullan, Idaho, passed away on Sept. 7, 2021. Ron was born Sept. 20, 1951, to parents Norman Freer and Joan Tibesar in Kellogg, Idaho.

A lifelong miner, Ron began working at the Lucky Friday mine in October of 1973 and retired in February of 2020. In his free time, he enjoyed the great outdoors by way of hunting and fishing and would often embark on road trips to his favorite destinations.

Ron is survived by brothers David and Chris Hoffer (Liberty); sister Lauri Edwards; children Brandy and Benjamin Freer (Jada); grandchildren Stacy Freer, Sierra Rowe (Patrick), Owen and Kincaid Freer; niece Ashley Sanders (Tyler); nephew Joseph Hoffer; numerous great-grandchildren; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Joe and Bobby, and grandson Skyler.

A celebration of life will be held for Ron from noon to 2 p.m., on Dec. 4, at The Morning Club in Mullan. Everyone is welcome to attend.
