Please join us for our 24th Annual Walk-A-Thon on Saturday, September 11. Registration starts at 9 a.m. with the event beginning at a new location, the pavilion in the parking lot of the Kellogg Swim Pool—just off Hill Street and next to the paved trail. Registration forms can be picked up at local libraries, or downloaded from www.svfch.org, or can be filled out at the event. Please bring the funds you have collected from your sponsors with you. Participants bringing at least $5 are eligible to receive a “door” prize donated by our local businesses. There are some appropriate for children.

We invite walkers, joggers, those with baby strollers and wheelchairs, folks with pets (there are pet prizes), etc. Bring the family. The route will be marked for a round trip of 3 miles going toward Elizabeth Park, but participants can go as far as they wish. Bottled water will be provided.

Bring some extra $ since we will have raffles also.

Funds raised at this event will be spent on our building projects helping with low-income housing. We have several Greater Blessings projects that need volunteer helpers. If you wish to help with just a single project, that is fine. We also need volunteers to help run this organization on the board and in committees.

Call Judy at 208-682-3240 or email judyblalack@gmail.com to volunteer or to sign up for our monthly newsletter.
