KELLOGG — Put on your dancing shoes and enjoy a night of live music, dinner and drinks to support the third annual community fundraiser for the West Shoshone County Firefighters Local 2043.

“A lot of people love this event. They get to come out and meet their firefighters that service the west end of the valley,” said Firefighter and Advanced Emergency Medical Technician Tyler Rotchford.

This is the second year that the local firefighters have collaborated with local brewery Radio Brewing to create a specialty beer to commemorate the evening. Live music will be provided by local-favorite band Sverwood with their wide range of music covers, from rock, country, and some modern rock classics.

“You can buy tickets for the event at the Kellogg Fire Station, the Bean and Radio Brewing Company. This is the same event as last year, the money raised will help the athletic department at Kellogg High School, to help build a new concession stand at Teeters Field,” Rotchford said.

Those looking to support the event may also pre-order a local 2034 union annual fundraiser shirt for $25, a specialized shirt with the KHS Wildcat mascot complete with flames in the background, with the sale ending May 23, and T-shirts available to be sold online or at the event.

Tickets for the event are $50 which includes one commemorative pint glass, with a free pour of the special beer release, and dinner.

“We also have a lot of auction items this year, as compared to last year,” Rotchford said.

Tickets can be purchased at Radio Brewing Company, The Bean and Kellogg Fire Station. All proceeds for this event will benefit the Kellogg High School Athletics Department to build a new concession stand at Teeters Field, the primary field for those who live in Kellogg. The fundraiser will be held in the old Shoshone County District No. 2 Firehouse, recently bought by Radio Brewing and take place May 21 starting at 6 p.m. and continuing on throughout the night.
