Diana 'Dee' Mae Greer, 75

Diana “Dee” Mae Greer, 75, lifelong resident of Wallace, Idaho, beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend, passed away at her Wallace home on Oct. 5, 2022. Dee was born on July 9, 1947, in Wallace. She was the daughter of the late Robert and Ellen Evans.

Dee was known in the Silver Valley and Montana as the best bartender around. She tended bar at The Metals in Wallace, helped to start the Montana Bar in Saltese, Mont., and worked at numerous other bars throughout the area.

She loved music and was always the life of the party. Dee also enjoyed floating the river and camping.

In addition to her parents, Dee is preceded in death by two brothers, Jack and Bob Evans; a sister, Patti Elmore; and Dee’s companion, Garry Hopper (Papa).

Survivors include her son, Marvin Skiles (Miriam Lemieux) of Osburn, Idaho; two daughters, Brenda Skiles (Joe Williams) of Osburn and Candice King of Kansas; four grandsons, Jessie Morales, Pawzz “Dusty” (Jorian) Williams, Kyle Greer (Tiffany Capparelli) and Joey Lemon; two granddaughters, Natasha Morales and Danielle King (Brad Sala); four great-grandsons, Dillon Morales, James Morales, Devan Morales and Deran Morales; five great-great-grandsons, Aspen Morales, Ivan Bowens, Jaxon Williams, Colten Imes and Cael Sala; and five great-great-granddaughters, Mavis Mae, Aleeya Bowens, Riely Greer, Teagan Sala and Sailor Lemon.

Dee’s family requests in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Loving Care and More at P.O. Box 119, Silverton, ID 83867.

In keeping with Dee’s wishes, cremation will take place and a celebration of her life will be held from 1-4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 15, 2022, at the Wallace Elks Club in Wallace. Please bring a dish to share.
