Dennis William Seagraves, 84

Dennis William Seagraves, 84, of Kingston, Idaho, passed away peacefully June 13, 2025, at his home in Kingston. Dennis was born Sept. 15, 1940, in Boise, Idaho. Dennis was the son of Jack and Inez (Chapman) Seagraves. 

The family moved from Boise to the Silver Valley when Dennis was a young child. He graduated from Kellogg High School in 1960 and then married his high school sweetheart, Barbara Ramstedt, in July of 1960. After 13 years of working in the Silver Valley, Dennis and his family moved to Palmer, Alaska, where Dennis worked with heavy equipment in the construction industry. In 1985, the family returned to Kingston and spent time with his family and friends doing what he enjoyed most — fishing, camping, hunting and don’t forget picking those huckleberries. 

Dennis leaves behind his wife of 64 years, Barbara Seagraves; his sons, Eric (Rhonda) Seagraves of St. Maries, Idaho, Kevin Seagraves of Pullman, Wash., and Jamie (Wendy) Seagraves of Boise, Idaho; four grandchildren, Dennis Scott Seagraves, Jackson, Lillian and Serena Seagraves; two great-grandchildren, Ava and Asher; and two sisters, Patsy Allen and Nancy Baldwin of Boise, Idaho. 

Dennis’ family will celebrate his life privately at a later date.
