CALL FOR BIDS NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN That sealed bids will be received by the Board of Trustees of Joint School District No. 391, 800 Bunker Avenue, Kellogg, Idaho, for one 2017 bus. Bid quotations should be stated for one 54 passenger conventional style diesel powered bus. Price quotations should include a delivered and non-delivered price. Also included on the bid sheet should be a trade-in quote on one 2004 International Class C 65 passenger diesel powered bus. All quotations must be filed on the official bid form. All bidders must guarantee their bid price for thirty (30) days. The buses must meet all the requirements of the State of Idaho as set forth in all the latest standards published in the Revised Transportation manual, as well as all applicable national safety standards. Detailed specifications and bid instructions, which by reference are made part of this notice, may be obtained from the office of the Superintendent of Schools, 800 Bunker Avenue, Kellogg, Idaho between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Bids must be in the office of the superintendent at the above address no later than 1:00 p.m., Pacific Time, November 14, 2016 at which time they will be opened for review and tabulation. The district reserves the right to hold all bids for detailed study and to take formal action to accept or reject bids for a period of time no longer than thirty (30) days after the bids are opened. Upon acceptance of said bids, buses should be made ready for pickup or delivery on or about April 15, 2017. The Board of Trustees reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive irregularities, and to be the sole judge of suitability of equipment offered, or to accept any bid considered being in the best interest of the school district. ORDINANCE NUMBER 374 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING MULLAN CITY ORDINANCES NO. 244 AND 288 PROVIDING FOR THE KEEPING OF CHICKENS AND RABBITS IN THE RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT, R-1, OF THE CITY OF MULLAN. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MULLAN, COUNTY OF SHOSHONE, STATE OF IDAHO: Ordinance No. 244, Section 6.12 of the Mullan Municipal Code and Ordinance Number 288, Section 17.16.020 of the Mullan Municipal Code, are amended to provide as follows: Ordinance Number 244, Section 6.12.010 of the Mullan Municipal Code, is amended to read: Acreage requirements. It is unlawful to harbor, keep, maintain, pasture, graze or corral, or in any manner whatever have in the possession of any person, or on the lands of any person within the limits of the city, unless the person has at least two contiguous acres of land, any horse, cow, bull, steer, sheep, mule, swine, goat, duck, goose, fowl, or fur bearing animal, excepting, however, that is shall be lawful to keep or maintain chickens and rabbits, excluding roosters, as domesticated livestock as allowed in the R-01 zoning district, and dogs and cats as domestic household pets. Section 17.16.020 of the Mullan Municipal Code is amended to read: R.1 district principal uses permitted outright. Principal uses permitted outright in the R-1 district are: A. Single-family dwellings; B. Agriculture, but not including the keeping of large animals on any lot of less than two acres, and not including livestock, with the exemption of chickens and rabbits, excluding roosters. A new Section 16.16.110 shall be added to the Mullan Municipal Code and read: Keeping of chickens and rabbits: A. A person may possess rabbits or chickens, excluding roosters, in the R-1 district subject to the following restrictions. All chickens and rabbits must be kept in a secure yard, building, or other enclosure at all times. B. Not more than 8 chickens and/or rabbits combined may be kept on a lot within the R-1 District. C. All chickens and rabbits must have access to clean water, food, and shelter. D. All chickens and rabbits must be in a fenced enclosure. All enclosures must be kept free of foul odors. No enclosure for chickens or rabbits may be built on an exterior boundary lot line. E. Every person keeping rabbits or chickens, excluding roosters, in the R-1 district shall register with the City the number or rabbits or chickens to be kept on a lot and pay a yearly fee of Five and no/100 dollars ($5.00) This Ordinance was passed following publication of notice, a public hearing, and adoption of this Ordinance effective October 17, 2017. New unit(s) will include a modulating 3-way heating valve for better heating control and economizer dampers that meet the minimum outside air requirements and also provide economizer cooling. Also to be included is a Carbon Dioxide (Co2) sensor to each room with a unit that must meet ASHRAE Standard 62 ventilation requirements.
