Roll Call 4/3-4/10
•Call to 600 block W Cameron for a couple that wasn’t answering the door or phone at check out time at the Silver Spoon. All was ok just very sound sleepers with hangovers.
•Written warning for a parking violation on division and riverside. Truck parked within 6 feet of a stop sign.
•Bob is off to POST he will be back in 10 weeks. Wish him luck.
•Had a walk-in meeting lady from a public assist from last week. She had a few questions.
•Noticed my head light was out in my patrol vehicle so switched over to P613 last night.
•Caught up on some reports.
•Call to Steins parking lot to speak with male about a previous incident regarding him and his soon to be ex-wife. Cleared public assist.
•Assisted H&W at Amy Lynn’s for welfare check. Cleared negative contact.
•ATL a silver Chevy trailblazer. RP called stated driver was all over the road texting and driving. Cleared UTL.
•Received call from Jill from H&W about a 7-8 yr old girl and 3-4 yr old boy walking down W Cameron unsupervised. Cleared unfounded.
•Bar check at Dirty Ernie’s and Eddie Joe’s, provided some patrons of Dirty Ernie’s a ride home.
•Business check at Morning Star Lodge.
•Extra Patrol Alleyways and side streets.
•Call to silver mountain resort main office about a stolen vehicle. Vehicle was located in Montana, Silver Mtn. resort went and picked up vehicle. Cleared report taken.
•Placed 48 hr warning on a red Ford Taurus at the Gondolier. Vehicle has since been moved.
•Ran some plate numbers in the Silver Mtn. parking lot to see if we could find the “dump vehicle” for the person that stole the Silver Mtn. vehicle.
•Took phone calls most of the day over the missing person case. Family is in town handing out flyers. Please keep an extra eye out for her.
•Only call of the night was handed to me by a deputy, the RP of the call lives in Pinecreek the incident happened here in Kellogg 400 block of W Brown. Will be doing follow up on cruelty to animal.
•Traffic stop on W Cameron Ave. Cleared verbal.
•Traffic stop on McKinley Ave. Cleared verbal.
•Traffic stop on E Cameron. Cleared verbal.
•Traffic stop on W Cameron. Cleared verbal.
•Mobile patrols in Kellogg and Wardner
•Landline request reference parking ticket.
•Landline request reference hit and run - no report taken as vehicle had been moved and driven by someone else since the time it had been struck. Referred them to their Insurance company.
•Checked on abandoned vehicle calls that were pending.
•Report of battery that occurred in McDonald’s parking lot. After several hours of investigation, this was found to be UNFOUNDED, per video, no crime was committed. Parties were separated and peace was restored.
•Follow up on cruelty to animal case.
•Traffic stop on W Cameron Ave, cleared verbal.
•Bar check at Noah’s.
•Business check at Morning Star Lodge, Cameron Conoco, and Fairbridge Inn.
•Follow up on missing person’s case with a tip in New Mexico. Contacted local authorities and had them search location of the sighting. Did not locate anyone matching her description.
•Called to Kindred on Cameron Ave. for a suspicious person who resembled the homicide suspect out of Bonner County. Turned out to be not the wanted person. This person was visiting a resident. Did not at all look like the homicide suspect.
•Prepare vehicles and get them to the office for radar company to come in tomorrow (with K71).
•Tagged vehicle near intersection of W. Riverside and Helen for 48-hour removal. Made contact with titled owner and they are in Texas. They sold the vehicle and are working on contacting the person they sold it to. I will also check on this over the weekend to see if I can make contact to have the vehicle removed.
•Report of female hitchhiker matching the description of the missing female from Kellogg. Reported to be at Division Street top of on ramp. Checked all exits/entrances into Kellogg unable to locate. No description given by caller. UTL.
•Report of open storage door on storage unit. Door secured as best as possible and contact attempted with owner (without success). Will continue to contact later. Looks like it was left open and not forced open. OWNER was contacted and unit was secured.
•Report of theft of cell phone 600 block of McKinley. Parties were at Fairbridge. Suspect is juvenile. Will be petitioning for charges per victim request. Item was recovered/returned.
•Conducted a traffic stop on Rail road for a motorcycle with no head light (dirt bike) I cleared with a warning.
•Mobile patrols in Kellogg and Wardner.
•Dog intake to pound from county x2.
•Follow-up on abandoned vehicle (owner contacted and attempting to get someone to move the vehicle within the time frame).
•Property damage crash on Pressley - both subjects on-scene and exchanging insurance information. No report taken as it will be referred to insurance companies.
•Follow-up on open storage unit (owner contacted).
•Possible suicidal subject on Riverside. Subject not taken into custody on PC, report created for documentation.
•Traffic stop on Bunker/Hill - cite for 41 in a 25 as well as operating on out of state license while suspended (infraction).
•Released dogs that were taken in earlier.
•Reports.
•Check on dog in pound to see if it belongs to someone calling in (no match found)

•Report taken for assisting Probation on W. Mill. Forwarding charges to Prosecutor.
•Called to 400 block of W Mullan for a juvenile party...turns out it wasn’t even close to that. It was a passion party. (if you don’t know what a passion party is, google it because not repeating what I saw) I’ve never wanted to be out of a house so fast in my life. My ego is a little damaged though, not a single one asked if K77 or myself if we were the “entertainment.”
•Landline report of burglary, not in progress. RP said he has had a lift stolen from his vacant building at the end of town (the old flea market building). I went down to the building and inspected where the break-in occurred. The building was cleared and secured. I called back the RP to let him know the report is finished and the building is locked back up. Contacted neighbors and took their statements on vehicles they had seen, took photos of foot prints and tire track inside the building. If anyone has any information on a Car hoist blue in color. Please contact KPD.
•Suspicious person 300 block of Ohio Ave. Male subject coming out of old burnt down residence (W. Portland). Checked area for person and unable to locate. Checked on both vacant homes in that area and they are both secure with no signs of entry. UTL.
•Disturbance 400-500 block of Bunker Ave - male subject singing in roadway and yelling at passing vehicles. Subject had been drinking, but had normal wits (in order to care for himself). Homeless hitchhiker on his way to California. I gave him a courtesy transport to Walmart, where he began serenading the bike path westbound.
•Disturbance 100 block of W. Mullan - verbal argument that was already over on arrival. Peace restored.
•Another noise complaint on W Mullan. Peace restored.
•Completed my follow up from my hit and run on Saturday night. I tracked down the vehicle and will have my report completed soon.
•Detoxed an adult male. He was walking with no shoes on or warm clothing. He was shivering and had no idea where he was. He blew a .262 yeah that’s a good buzz.
