Body identified as missing Kellogg Woman

KELLOGG- The Shoshone County Sheriff’s Office and Kellogg Police Department responded to a report on April 11 of a fisherman who had located a deceased female in the southfork of the Coeur d’Alene river between Kellogg and Smelterville. With the assistance of the Kellogg Police Department, the female has been identified as 62- year old Karen Orchard. Orchard went missing from her Kellogg residence around March 25th. No further information is available at this time, pending results from the medical examiner’s office.
