Sprucin Up Pinehurst

| April 19, 2017 3:00 AM

This is our fourth year of making Pinehurst more beautiful, people and eye friendly. The Pinehurst/Kingston Lions Club have volunteered to do a benefit breakfast on Saturday, April 22, from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. to help us raise revenue for this project. Come out and have a hearty breakfast and support our efforts. We started out with hanging baskets on Division Street and large pots at Heritage Park, Hunter Memorial Park and shrubs and pots at the Marek Basketball Court. Last year we did landscaping at City Hall with New shrubbery, pots landscaping rocks, beds and a bench; thanks to Art & Sherry Krulitz, Dave Olson, Carla Ross, Nancie Burkhart and donors we accomplished this. We appreciate all the “Kudos” and “Thumbs Up” we’ve received. We now do 21 hanging baskets, 11 large flower pots, shrubs and plants througout the town. We are so thankful to the Lions Club for Helping us in our goal. If Anyone would like to help in any way contact Nancie Burkhart at 682-4027, Debbie Marek at 682-2385 or City Hall at 682-3721. Come out Saturday for a great breakfast to start your day and support our efforts. Thank you in advance.
