PRIEST RIVER — Wildcats Chase Jerome and Kat Rauenhorst ran away with the individual medalist awards as they finished with scores of 67 and 83 respectively. The Wildcats finished with nine of the 10 top golfers in both boys and girls divisions.

BASEBALL

The Kellogg Wildcats got swept by Timberlake on Saturday, falling 12-0 and 5-1. Timberlake coach Cameron Knigge lauded the play of Kellogg pitcher Tanner Mueller, who fanned 11 batters in the second game.

“He pitched real well for nearly seven innings,” Knigge said of Mueller. “Kellogg is coming along as a program. I think they will be a darkhorse as the season continues.”
