Shirley Jane Sheldon (Jensen), 82

Shirley Jane Sheldon, 82 of Osburn, Idaho, went to be with the Lord on August 2, 2017 at the Kindred Nursing and Rehabilitation-Mountain Valley of Kellogg, Idaho. She was born July 10, 1935 in Philipsburg, Montana; Shirley was the daughter of Alva and Eva Jensen.

Shirley attended and graduated from the Wallace High School in 1953.

In 1955 Shirley was united in marriage to Laurence Sheldon in Wallace, Idaho at the Methodist Church. They celebrated 61 years of marriage together. Laurence passed away in 2016.

Shirley was a homemaker raising her five children. In her early years Shirley worked at the Court House in Wallace and also worked for several years at Blum’s Flowers in Osburn.

Shirley had a strong faith and spent a lot of her free time volunteering at her church. She also enjoyed doing crafts, interior design, gardening and was known to be a great cook.

Shirley is survived by her five children Bruce Sheldon, of Seattle, Washington, Scott (Tondra) Sheldon of Tacoma, Washington, Neil (Teresa) Sheldon of Salt Lake City, Utah, Melanie (Jeff) Smith of Turlock, California and Darcy (John) Urton also of Turlock, California; three siblings Ken Jensen, Richard Jensen and Ila Jensen. She is also survived by her grandchildren Shanda, Mathew, Sarah, Nathan, Jeffrey, Noah, Josiah, Micah, Ryan Dennis and Kayla; great-grandchildren Sydney, Haley, Jordan, Jadan, Mason, Katlyn, Christopher, Cinderella and Alexia and numerous nieces and nephews. She was proceeded in death by her parents, husband Laurence and her sister Joyce.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday August 5, 2017 at the Kellogg Funeral Chapel at 2:00P.M. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service. Pastor John Contreras will be Officiating. Following services a reception will be held at the Grace Evangelical Free Church in Osburn.
