•Follow up on report.

•Traffic stop on Bunker cleared verbal.

•Traffic stop on W Cameron Avenue.

•Traffic stop on S Division, cleared verbal.

•Traffic stop on E Cameron, cleared verbal.

•Landline request for CDA bank “stealing” atm card. Cleared civil only.

•The Canadian Campers are in the employee parking lot of Dave Smith Motors. They had some vehicle issues and scheduled to have their car serviced. Later in the day they were also given a ride to the SMC hiking trail.

•Mobile patrols of Kellogg and Wardner.

•Warrant service 100 block of W. Mill- arrested an adult male for his outstanding warrants x2. Report completed with nothing further.

•Report of theft from 400 block of Bunker Avenue. Follow-up at a later time on this (video surveillance) in order to find out if investigation/report will be generated.

•Report of No Contact Order (NCO) violation taking place in 100 block of W. Mullan. Checked prior to arrival and the person being accused of violating is protected person and cannot violate it. Spoke with RP to explain and advised to contact the courts to see if something could be done to issue reciprocating order. Person believed to be in violation was not on-scene upon my arrival. Unfounded.

•Unknown disturbance in front of Ace Hardware on W. Cameron Avenue- K76 handled and cleared prior to my arrival.

•Patrolled Kellogg and Wardner.

•Extra patrol through construction areas.

•Called to 500 block of mission for sounds of people fighting and what the reporting party thought was a baseball bat hitting something, turned out to be two kids “sword fighting” in the front yard with sticks.

•Called to a welfare check in the 100 block of legion, the gentleman in question was at KMC.

•Called to suspicious activity in front of ace hardware ended up just being some friends talking.

•Stationary patrol at Bunker and Hill.

•Traffic stop on Hill Street for not stopping at the stop sign cited for failure to have currant and valid license.

•Finished fraud reports.

•Welfare check 200 block of Emerald. Subject was code 4.

•Landline request, I attempted 3x’s negative contact.

•Traffic complaint 700 Block of Howard. Cleared unfounded.

•Stolen firearm from 400 block of Railroad Ave. Later found to be unfounded.

•Abandoned vehicle on Rose, owner was notified. Cleared public assist.

•HOLY CONSTRUCTION! Lots of redirecting lost travelers back to the interstate.

•Open door 300 block Main Street, (door in the alley by the Post Office) but both doors facing North were open. Cleared building secured.

•Mobile patrols of Kellogg and Wardner.

•Attempted follow-up from one of yesterday’s calls. Prior to the follow-up, was informed the person I was going to speak with had left for the day. Will attempt again tomorrow.

•Public Assist at Kellogg Fire- juvenile had placed handcuffs on himself. Family called the fireman but he was unable to remove them (they have issues using tools smaller that an Axe.) K74 arrived with the magic key and removed the handcuffs (said juvenile was exonerated).

•Gave a courtesy ride to a deputy to retrieve his vehicle from maintenance work.....this is helpful if he is to come back to work after taking vacation.

•Assisted K72 with trespassers in the 400 block of W. Portland.

•Dispatched to 100 block of Mission Ave for possible harassment. Cleared peace restored

•Dispatched to 400 block of W Portland about possible trespassing. Suspect wasn’t trespassing. Cleared public assist.

•Dispatched up silver mountain for a citizen contact. Looked like the male subject had started a fire but was burned out by the time K72 got there, said there was a party going on but everyone had left so he was camping out. Gave a courtesy ride to the male subject to the silver spoon. Cleared public assist.

•Patrol of Kellogg and Wardner.

•29 service on 500 Block of McKinley Ave cleared negative contact.

•29 service on 700 block of Howard, K77 completed the warrant by arrest.

•Assisted K75 with follow up on his gun case in the 400 blk of railroad.

•K75 and myself attempted to trespass an individual from 400 block W. Portland Avenue.

•Arrested an adult female on her warrant for FTA on Howard Street.

•Called to odd fellows shelter for juveniles being there. I kicked them out and cleared.

•Tagged blue van on Gold Ave for 48 hr removal.

•Called back down to Railroad (K75’s gun case) he wanted to report that a piece of wood was knocked over on his property. Literally a piece of firewood was tipped over on his front porch and wanted a report. I told him that I would pass onto K75, however a new report was not going to be generated.

•Attempted contact with The Management Company reference Trespassing in the 400 block of W. Portland. There is an order issued, but not the type we can enforce. Message was left for them to contact the courts for further assistance in removal of the persons leading up to County doing the removal. Have not heard back, so it is unknown if the message was received.

•Trespass issue at Stein’s IGA. It was not an issue, but someone needed to be trespassed from the property. Notice was given and dispatch was updated with the name for documentation.

•Theft on 100 block of W. Mullan- wallet along with other items removed from a vehicle. Statement form given with case number for victim to call companies that need to be called to cancel cards and other items. When the statement is received, the report will be completed. Report taken.

•Took some complaints on the construction putting a damper on businesses. Advised there wasn’t much we could do about that and it turned into traffic complaints as pertaining to parking lots. Extra and/or stationary patrols requested by Stein’s and other local businesses in the construction areas for early morning traffic (8am-11ish).

•Possible DUI westbound on Silver Valley Road coming into Kellogg (from the Transfer station). Reported to be a male rider without shirt and wearing a helmet on a Harley. Unable to locate.

•Notified of dog at large in the City Park- yellow pit-bull type very skittish around people. Followed dog to its residence where owner was notified the dog was out and running around the park. Advised of such and cleared with the dog being back at home.

•Juvenile issues in the 100 block of W. Mission. Spoke with parents and juvenile about recurring issues and consequences. Peace restored.

•Traffic stop on the I-90 frontage for stop sign violation and no turn signal. Cleared verbal.

•Dispatched to 400 block of mission for suicidal juvenile. Upon arrival, parents just wanted “the police” to talk with the juvenile to hopefully get him back on track in terms of bad behavior and things of that nature. Cleared peace restored.

•Dispatched for agency assist on old Theater Road, 1225 found stolen car which was later recovered. During inventory, K72 found methamphetamine under the passenger seat. A male subject was arrested and a female was cited for frequenting. Cleared peace restored

•Patrol of Kellogg and Wardner.

•Civil standby 400 block of railroad, negative contact.

•Dropped off my patrol vehicle in the AM only to find out it needed a different tech and it’s being rescheduled for maintenance.

•Patrolled Kellogg and Wardner.

•K75 and myself went to Fairbridge Inn for a stolen credit card. When we arrived, the owner had already found the card.

•Gave K75 a ride to Dave Smith to pick up his vehicle.

•Motorist assist EB 1-90 off ramp MP 50. Vehicle was moved and cleared public assist.

•Office visit at the PD today. Subject had a few questions about an old case.

•Dealt with some residents from Mission street at the PD. Subject wanted to know why a cop was at his house today. K77 explained to him that he was not there today and that he was pretty sure the chief was not there today. Subject still insisted what cop was at his house today. K75 explained that today wasn’t his day to supervise the other officers in the valley, and he had no idea. Said subject believes we are harassing him.

•Disturbance at the Trail Motel. Lady was “upset” her vehicle was being repoed and was causing a scene and prohibiting the tow driver from leaving. It was a scene right out of South Beach Tow minus the beach of course. K77 calmed the scene down and cleared peace restored.

•Possible squatters at the old Silver Valley fitness building. I cannot locate a current owner of the property but all down stairs doors are open and evidence of squatting. Nobody on scene when I arrived. Cleared UTL.

•Welfare check on Oregon Street. Cleared UTL.

•Traffic stop on Hill and Bunker. Cleared with a verbal warning.

•T-stop on Riverside and Hill St for stop sign violation. Cleared verbal.

•Dispatched to Fairbridge Inn but was supposed to be at SMC, about a male subject possibly intoxicated. Upon arriving and speaking with the male subject he was at the hospital earlier but discharged. Ended up taking him to SCSO for Detox.

•T-stop on side of Silver Mtn for no dealer plates or registration. After walking up to the vehicle I could see the registration through the tinted windows. Cleared NAT.

•T-stop on Hill St by the Silver Mtn Ski shop for no head lights on at night and stop sign violation. Cleared verbal.

•T-stop on 600 block of Bunker Avenue for speeding. Cleared verbal.

•Dispatched to West side of parking lot of Yokes about suspicious persons in a vehicle. Subject was charging his battery since his battery died. Cleared public assist.

•Dispatched to male making a scene to oncoming vehicles on McKinley Avenue by the Inland lounge. Male was not intoxicated but believed the FBI was watching him. Apparently K77 had to deal with him prior today.

•Dispatched to 400 block of Brown Street for barking dogs. Cleared verbal.

•Report of a rafter of turkeys at Radio Brewing. They had to be turned away due to not having any ID on them.

•Patrolled Kellogg and Wardner.

•Helped A LOT of people get back to the freeway.

•Black suburban sitting near the intersection of Cameron and Oregon, it was a family traveling through and the trail overbooked and didn’t actually have a room for them. Everywhere was booked so they decided to press on to into Montana.

•Suspicious activity at the storage facilities at the corner of E Portland and Fir, Door to one of the units was partially open. K72 assisted, when door was opened a male was found unconscious and naked with a can of air duster in his hand. Medical was called and everything checked out. Cleared report taken.

•Assisted K76 with a subject who we found passed out huffing air out of an air duster can. We dispatched medical and released the male to his home. Cleared report taken.

•Assisted K72 with a citizen contact on McKinley Avenue, said the FBI was watching him and thought I was a federal agent, so he only wanted to talk to K72, cleared agency assist.

•Looked for a dirt bike that took off from 1225 up Sierra Nevada, UTL.

•Called to a kid on the roof of one of the picnic areas in the city park. Young lady got down as soon as K73 asked her to.

•While at the park, K73 removed a drunk male from the park. The dunk male kept telling K73 to have a nice day as he left the park.

•Assist K76 with a malicious injury to prop at the Amy Lynn’s.

•Called to Silver Mountain for a person acting funny, she said she wanted out of Idaho and wanted a cab however when cab was contacted she decided to just go back to her room she had booked for 2 days. Cleared public assist.

•Patrolled Kellogg and Wardner.

•Pokémon go seems to be back, there were a few people out playing last night.

•Called to Fairbridge in for citizen contact. There’s a request for extra patrol on Legion Avenue, there was a 911 call last night there K76 spoke with her.

•Dispatched to Galena Ridge Golf course. Apparently, Carl Spackler was spotted by some golfers, they notified the Course Manager about a person dressed in all black with a rifle and scope. After speaking with the manager, it sounds like one of greens keepers was doing work and possibly had some equipment with him. Soooo, am I the only one signing “I’m Alright” by Kenny Loggins right now?

•VIN inspection x3.

•Foot patrol of Main Street, Kellogg, Mission Avenue, Mullan Avenue.

•Patrolled Kellogg and Wardner.

•Called to a passed-out male at Kindred Rehab Center (no he was not a resident). I tried to wake him by shaking him, when that did not work a good old fashion sternum rub did. His last name was Duck and he is from Arkansas. Told him to sleep elsewhere like Montana. Seems he did not take my advice as K76 had to deal him later on.

•Foot patrol around the city park and the community garden. 73 asked the night guys to do some extra patrol around the garden. Someone had been harvesting some of the goods that don’t belong to them after dark.

•Called to the Hill Street Conoco for two people smoking “funny things” behind the store, it was the Mr. Duck gentleman that K73 had to wake up, and one of his homeless friends that K76 and K72 have had run-ins with. They left by themselves peacefully.

•Called to SMC for a male passed out in the parking lot, it was Mr. Duck yet again. When K76 woke him up from his power nap he decided he was going to leave and said he was going to leave the city. Cleared N.A.T.

•Patrolled Kellogg and Wardner.

•Followed up on malicious injury to property from yesterday. Citation was served.

•Landline line request passed on to me from K73, went to go speak with some out of control children. Cleared Public Assist.

•Civil Standby at the trail motel.

•Called to 400 block of Railroad for citizen contact. Cleared NAT.

•Called to intersection of N. Division for Durango vs UTV collision. UTV driver was ejected from his vehicle and transported to SMC. Cleared report taken.

•Patrolled Kellogg and Wardner.

•Traffic stop on Bunker Avenue, but was cut short due to the collision.

Be Happy, Be Safe, and walk...it might be faster.
