Jeffrey “Jeff” Dale Anderson, 69

Beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother, Jeffrey “Jeff” Dale Anderson, 69, of Wallace, Idaho, passed away August 11, 2017 in Wallace. He was born September 27, 1947 in Helena, Montana; Jeff was the son of William and Irene (Pipal) Anderson.

In earlier years, Jeff attended schools in Wallace. He attended and graduated from the Skyline High School of Salt Lake City, Utah. Jeff served in the U.S. Marine Corp, serving two tours of duty during the Viet Nam war.

Jeff married Judy Gillett on December 30, 1989 in Eureka, Utah. They moved back to the Silver Valley in 1989.

Jeff was a miner for the Sunshine Mining company in Utah and here in the Silver Valley; he had also worked at the Galena Mine. Jeff had also served as a free lance electrician.

Jeff was a member of the Eureka Elks Lodge of Eureka, Utah and also a member of the Wallace Elks Lodge #331. He was also a member of the Osburn V.F.W. #1675 and a member of the National Rifle Association.

Jeff loved and enjoyed hunting, four-wheeling and just being in the great outdoors.

Jeff is survived by his wife Judy Anderson of Wallace; one son Gavin Anderson of Exeter, California; five step-daughters Tammie (Lindsey) Ault of Wallace, Ruth (Brent) Wilde of Nephi, Utah, Holly (Mike) Dutson also of Nephi, Brandy (Patrick) Castleton of Butte, Montana and Nadean Parsons of Salt Lake City, Utah; one step-son Nick Parsons also of Salt Lake City; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; one sister Holly (Sano) Haldi of Wallace; he is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Jeff was preceded in death by his parents William and Irene Anderson.

A Celebration of Jeff’s Life will be held on Monday, August 21, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at the Wallace Elks Lodge (downstairs) of Wallace with Wallace Elks Officers officiating. A reception/luncheon for family and friends will be held at the Elks following services.
