Saturday, Aug. 19
Brewsfest at Silver Mountain from 1 to 6 p.m. 20 breweries, 40 craft beers, and live music. Ticket to the event includes the gondola ride, event access, a 2017 Brewsfest mug, and 6 tasting tickets.
Sunday, Aug. 20
Guns and Hoses charity softball game at Teeters Field in Kellogg at noon. Proceeds from the event go toward firefighter Dylan Browning’s fight against Burkitt Lymphoma.
Monday, Aug. 21
Solar eclipse
Join the Kellogg Library at the Odd Fellows cover in Kellogg to view the eclipse at 8:30 a.m. special eclipse glasses will be provided to attendees. Glasses can also be picked up at the Kellogg Library. At 12:30 p.m., Ronald McDonald himself will be making a guest appearance.
Kellogg Planning and Zoning meeting at 5:30 p.m. in city hall.
Wednesday, Aug. 23
Good Samaritan Society Silver Wood Village annual Good Neighbor Barbecue. Good food, live music, live farm animals, and a cake walk. This celebration is held to show appreciation for all the community support Good Sam receives.
Wallace Pool Annual BBQ and Swim Fundraiser at 5:30 p.m.
Thursday, Aug. 24
Pinochle game at the Kellogg Senior Center from noon to 2 p.m. Event repeats every Thursday.
Osburn VFW meeting at the VFW hall in Osburn at 6:30 p.m. Event reoccurs the fourth Thursday of every month.
Friday, Aug. 25
Live Music at the Fainting Goat from 6 to 9 p.m. Featuring Dick Burhans, Acoustic Jazz.
Live music at the Snake Pit from 7 to 9 p.m. Enjoy Living Well.
Friday night dance at the Kellogg Senior Center from 7 to 10 p.m. every Friday. Music by Jerry and Faith.
Free community movie night at Gene Day Park in Osburn. Movies will begin at dusk Friday and Saturday nights throughout the summer. The event will be canceled if it is raining. Please contact Carol Young with any questions at 753-5475 (work), 659-7075 (cell).
