Photo by Sgt. Paul Twidt/ The west side McConnell Hotel Tuesday afternoon as it goes up in flames. Kellogg Police provided assisatnce to firecrews during the blaze.

•No calls to service.

•Finished two reports that happened yesterday.

•Patrolled Kellogg and Wardner.

•Foot patrol on W. Portland Ave.

•Mobile patrols in Kellogg and Wardner

•Attempted warrant service on subject in Wardner - negative contact.

•Attempt to locate for erratic driver - out of position (on I90).

•Attempt to locate for another erratic driver, this time in position (I90). Asked if RP wanted to sign citation (YES). Located vehicle and conducted traffic stop, had RP stop as well. After finding out the incident took place on 4th of July pass, RP decided they did not want to wait for ISP to come from 1 mile away. Gave information back to suspect and sent both on their way. As this did not happen in our jurisdiction, I did not give a warning - Public Assist. Not alcohol related.

•Warrant service 600 block of Main Street Wardner - Amber Yorkpankratz taken into custody on Felony Warrant without incident. Transported to jail and booked. Report taken.

•Assist jail at SMC with in-custody/transport. Subject was fine and exited without issue. Transported back to jail by County.

•Patrolled Kellogg and Wardner.

•Called to SMC to assist county with male.

•Traffic stop at 50 on ramp for a broken tail light- verbal

•Traffic stop at Utah and Cameron for failing to stop at a stop sign- verbal

•Assist ISP with swapping insurance info. Incident occurred at the construction near 48.

•Foot patrol on Main, McKinley, Ohio, E Portland, Mill, W Riverside, W Mission, W Mullan, Caledonia, Howard, Sunset, Elder, Hill Street, Chestnut, Cedar.

•Assist 1224 with civil standby, cleared other agency assist.

•29 service 1 S. Division- FTA Warrant for Jessica Hill. Cleared warrant served.

•Followed up on a case before I go away for two weeks.

•Patrolled Kellogg and Wardner.

•A dog was brought to KPD found on the freeway in Kellogg. K72 put it in the pound.

•Lane line request X2. Cleared both citizen assist.

•Mobile patrols of Kellogg and Wardner.

•Complete booking for earlier arrest by K75

•Report of a male in the roadway yelling for police in front of Sam’s (6-700 block of W. Cameron). Male subject had been trespassed from Fairbridge and declined from purchasing a room due to lack of funds at Silver Horn. He was transported to Page to stay with friends.

•Dispatched to Main Street in Wardner about someone speeding up and down Main Street. Ended up passing the vehicle on Hill Street and followed vehicle into Steins parking lot. Gave verbal for speeding on the roadway. Cleared verbal.

•Dispatched to Fairbridge Inn about male not leaving and not paying for a room. Fairbridge ended up trespassing this individual and he left the premises without incident. Cleared public assist.

•Dispatched to silver spoon hotel about a male yelling for the police in the middle of the road. Upon arrival I found it was the same male that was trespassed from the Fairbridge. He was sitting in the middle of the street muttering things that didn’t really make a whole lot of sense. Ended up providing this fine gentleman a courtesy ride to upper page road so he can sleep at a “safe house”. Cleared public assist

•Took a dog to the pound.

•LL request from a male who was calling on behalf of a female, who is the girlfriend to the male that I was dealing with earlier in regard to the trespassing to Fairbridge. He wanted to see if I could provide a courtesy transport for her to the Kingston Exon. Since it was 4:45 a.m. there wasn’t much going on, so I did provide that courtesy transport for her. Cleared public assist.

•Patrol of Kellogg and Wardner.

•Welfare check on transient sleeping in the grass by the intersection of Bunker and W Cameron Avenue. Subject was code 4, cleared public assist.

•Attempted 29 service, cleared negative contact.

•Took a dog into the pound from Pinehurst.

•Assist K77 with verbal domestic at 600 block of Upper 3rd... the house that has been popular the last few weeks. Cleared peace restored.

•Foot patrol on Main, McKinley, S. Division, Mill, W. Portland, Ohio, Alleyway between S. Division and Main.

•Attempted 29 service with K75 cleared negative contact.

•Handled a bullying call in 100 blk of W. Market. I talked to the kids involved...im quite certain this wont happen again.

•Disturbance upper third street. Cleared peace restored.

•Motorcycle crash with injuries at MP 50 I90. ISP took over investigation.

•Mobile patrols of Kellogg and Wardner.

•Took paperwork to Prosecutor’s Office.

•Found paraphernalia 200 block of E. Portland - disposed of.

•Found paraphernalia 500 block of W. Riverside - disposed of.

•Traffic stop Hill and Legion - verbal for speed on Railroad.

•Traffic stop Hill and Bunker - verbal for speed on Railroad.

•Traffic stop on 500 block of W. Riverside - verbal for speed and stop sign 400 block of W. Riverside.

•Traffic stop 600 block of Main Wardner - verbal for speed (citation not issued as speed was not locked on radar).

•Spoke with the 2nd half of last night’s “racing” in Wardner. Also spoke with RP’s of the call and they could not identify drivers in order to issue citations.

•ATL for possible juvenile runaway. Last seen in Kellogg, missing out of Pinehurst - referred to Pinehurst PD for specifics and possible signing as a Runaway. Subject was located a short time after broadcast for ATL....located in Pinehurst. Referred to other agency.

•Continue online coursework - this will be recurring up until training dates.

•Report of a fight at Eddie Joe’s. Upon arrival, very few people there and no signs of any altercation. While checking the area, believe caller (unknown) heard from inside establishment where they were playing pool and it was echoing throughout the neighborhood. Door was closed and this was cleared unfounded.

•Dispatched to 100 block of Silver ave for 2 dogs at large. cleared UTL.

•LL request about a runaway juvenile, ended up passing to Pinehurst PD since the juveniles mother lives in Pinehurst.

•Dispatched to Eddie Joes about possible verbal altercation, once on scene there was no altercation.... Cleared unfounded.

•T-stop on Cameron and Thorn for stop sign violation. Cleared verbal.

•Patrol of Kellogg and Wardner

•Called to 411 Bunker for parking complaint. No description, no call back number or name of RP. I walked around the area all vehicles had valid tags and licenses all seemed to be in working order. Cleared unfounded.

•Called to Silver Mt. for man flipping off kids and concerning guests, subject was located and asked to leave property. Cleared public assist.

•Traffic stop on Cameron Avenue for speed, cleared verbal warning.

•Traffic stop on Bunker for speed, cleared verbal.

•Traffic stop on W Cameron for speed, cleared verbal.

•Foot patrol on Main, McKinley, W Portland Avenue.

•Conducted three traffic stops at the intersection of Hill and Cameron. Cleared verbal.

•Traffic stop closed portion of McKinley. Cleared verbal.

•Handled land line requests for civil issues.

•Mobile patrols of Kellogg and Wardner.

•Spoke with landlord regarding tenant issue, they are receiving reports that tenants are breaking into residence. K77 and I advised this is allowed as they cannot just kick them out without court order or Judge’s order. They did get and issue eviction notices, but only filled out the paperwork and served without appearing in court prior to. Advised proper channels to go through for eviction process.

•Traffic stop 700 block of W. Cameron - cite and release female for DWP. Issued citation for expired registration and no proof of insurance as well. Vehicle was towed. Report created. Given warning if caught driving while suspended again, arrest will take place. Male was re-issued this same warning.

•Parking issue in Silver Mountain parking lot. RV taking up spaces. RQ was run and registered owner information given to front desk to see if they were registered guest (no parking pass displayed for them to check). Nobody inside vehicle and owner not on file with hotel. Hotel will be checking with their management to see if they will have it towed. Public Assist.

•Foot patrols of park and football field shortly after game.

•Heard a subject yelling on Silver Ave - contacted person and he is looking for dog(s). Advised we would be around if anything was needed and walking around looking would be better suited over yelling.

•Unwanted subject 400 block of Bunker - contact made with parties and looks more like eviction needed. K72 handled.

•Traffic stop on station and Division st for no turn signal. Cleared verbal

•Traffic stop on frontage and hill st for one working headlight. Cleared verbal

•Dispatched to 411 Bunker for unwanted person, unwanted person was not there upon arrival. Cleared peace restored

•Call to 400 block Main Street in Wardner about someone who wanted us to conduct a welfare check. Forwarded to county since the address is located in the county.

•Dispatched back to 400 block Bunker for verbal domestic. Female half had a bench warrant for FTA. Cleared arrest for warrant

•T-stop on elm and Cameron for speed. Cleared verbal

•T-stop on oak and Cameron for speed. Cleared verbal

•T-stop on Cameron and oak for no front license plate. Cleared verbal

•T-stop on riverside and elm for speeding. Citation issued for DWP and no insurance

•T-stop Cameron and Division for speeding. Cleared verbal

•Dispatched to 600 block S Division for dogs at large call. Cleared public assist

•Assisted K76 about battery call at Silver Mtn. Male had been touching and playing with younger female juveniles and lifeguard at the water park. Male suspect had left by the time we arrived. Report taken by K76.

•Possible 8004 driver that pulled into Steins parking lot. After speaking with the driver she was an elderly woman who was very confused by all the construction (can’t say I blame her). cleared unfounded.

•T-stop on Cameron and Utah for broken tail light. Cleared verbal.

•Provided courtesy ride to male to Smelterville.

•Patrol of Kellogg and Wardner.

•Called to SMC for a disturbance. Cleared peace restored.

•Mobile patrols of Kellogg and Wardner.

•Motorist assist 600 block of W. Riverside - vehicle wouldn’t start after stalling in roadway. Vehicle was in gear when they were trying to start it - moved it into park and vehicle was on its way.

•Reports.

•Online training.

•Ran paperwork to Sheriff’s Office for court and sorted out other paperwork.

•Motorist assist I90 51 exit. Subject was good, needed a break from driving. Advised to pull off the roadway and into the gas station less than 50 yards away.

•Called to Silver Mountain for a battery in the water park- report taken.

•Walk in domestic, began under interesting circumstances...

•Foot patrol of Cameron, Brown, Riverside.

•No calls to service.

•Traffic stop in gondolier parking lot- clear verbal for stop sign.

•Follow up for K72 for his battery at the waterpark.

•Walk in report of debris on the interstate MP 48.5 WB. Cleared debris removed from roadway.

•Foot patrol on Main, McKinley, S Division, Kellogg, Mill, W Portland, Ohio, E Portland.

•Patrolled Kellogg and Wardner.

•Report of something blocking the intersection of Mission and Hill - it was unclear as to what was blocking and no further information was gathered - when I drove through, the intersection is as clear as its ever been....even vehicles moved more so off the road than normal clearing a way.

•Suspicious circumstances 200 block of E. Cameron - spoke with RP, not victim as victim was out of town. Long story short, seems to be an ongoing issue with a male subject. As I was speaking with RP, male subject drove by and stopped when summoned. Subject trespassed from location without incident. See below for further information.

•Report of a dirtbike vs tree 300 block of Ohio - Ended up being a mountain biker that hit a tree (not a vehicle collision - no report). Referred to medics already on-scene.

•Released a dog from the pound out of Pinehurst. Subject was given citation that was with the impound slip.

•Welfare check 400 block of Bunker - apartment number given does not exist - called RP and the person he was requesting the check on is currently in custody.....no need for a check.

•Report of Domestic in the area of Hill and Railroad. Found two subjects that may have been arguing....or speaking loudly as they always do. It was advised to remain civil while in the city park or they would lose their privileges. Unfounded for domestic.

•Report of Firecrackers being let off at 139 W. Mission. Upon arrival, firecrackers were in containers and appeared to have been set off by mistake. There were none left to light off so a warning was given and further explained the burn ban in effect.

•Followed up on water park battery case.

•Traffic Stop in the Cameron Conoco for crossing double yellow- clear verbal, just trying to figure out how to get back to the freeway.

•Traffic Stop at Hill Street and Cameron for a stop sign violation - clear verbal.

•Traffic stop in the I.G.A parking lot for stop sign violation- clear verbal.

•Patrolled Kellogg and Wardner.

•No calls to service

•Called to 400 Block of W. Brown for vehicle blocking construction equipment, cleared vehicle has been removed.

•Took in dog from county.

•Traffic stop on Bunker Avenue for stop sign violation. Cleared verbal.

•Theft/ civil issue at Kindred, cleared refer to other agency.

*Had a walk in report of stalking/ assault cleared report taken.

•While handling walk in, road rage incident took place at KPD parking lot. Detained suspect and went to speak with RP but they decided to take off. Suspect was released.

•Suspect from road rage call was here to release dog, after paying his fees the dog was released.

•Fire......need I say more about today?
