Bunker Hill workers meeting at the Broken Wheel in Kellogg at noon.

Wallace High School wrestling match at home. Participating schools include Lakeland High School JV, Kellogg High School, and Coeur d’Alene High School JV. Starts at 6 p.m., weigh-in at 5 p.m.

Wallace Planning and Zoning meeting at 6 p.m. in City Hall.

Mullan High School JV girls basketball game at home vs. Wallace High School. Tip-off at 7 p.m.

THURSDAY, DEC. 7

Pearl Harbor Day

Wallace UCC Congregational Church free chili dinner from 5 to 6:30 p.m.

Story time at the Osburn Public Library from 11 a.m. to noon, 921 Mullan Ave. For ages 0-5. Singing, crafts, stories, and snacks. Event reoccurs every Thursday.

Pinochle game at the Kellogg Senior Center from noon to 2 p.m. Event reoccurs every Thursday.

FRIDAY, DEC. 8

Second weekend of Wallace “Go Retro” Holiday events. Craft fair at the Depot from 10 to 6:30 p.m. Parade line up on Pine St. at 5:30, parade at 6 p.m. Celebration at the Depot following the parade. Sixth Street Theater Christmas Show at 7 p.m. Hayrides offered from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Friday night dance at the Kellogg Senior Center from 7 to 10 p.m. every Friday. Music by Jerry and Faith.

Pinehurst Library “making gingerbread houses” class from 5 to 6 p.m. Make your very own gingerbread house for the holiday season. All supplies are provided for this free event. No need to sign up, just show up.

Kellogg High School George Wild wrestling duels and tournament at home. Participating schools include Bonners Ferry High School, Coeur d’Alene, Eureka, Kellogg, Lakeland, Lewiston, Potlatch, Sandpoint, Timberlake and Wallace. Starts at 4 p.m., weigh-in at 3 p.m.

Wallace High School boys basketball at home vs. St. Maries High School. Tip-off at 7 p.m., JV at 5:30 p.m.

Pinehurst Library computer assistance class from noon to 2 p.m. Eloise, retired senior IT tech, will be available to assist members with technology questions. Bring your devices and your questions.

SATURDAY, DEC. 9

Second weekend of Wallace “Go Retro” Holiday events. PAW parade at 11 a.m. Pictures with Santa offered from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. High tea entertainment at noon, 618 Bank St. Reserve your spot by calling 208-556-1500. Sixth Street Theater Christmas Show at 2 p.m. Depot-tree decorating with trains, carols and a train story at 3 p.m. Hayrides offered from 5 to 7 p.m.

Lake City Harmorziers concert and sing-n-long at 7 p.m. at American Lutheran Church fellowship hall, 13 E. Mullan Ave., Kellogg. Free ice cream social to follow.

TUESDAY, DEC. 12

Pinehurst/ Kingston Lions Club 2017 lighting ceremony. 1st graders singing Christmas songs starting about 5:45 p.m. Santa and his helpers arrive on a big red fire truck around 6:00 p.m. near Real Life Ministries thrift store and Barneys. Scout Pack and Boy Scout Troop 326 will be providing refreshments and snacks. Dress warm it might be very cold and possibly wet!

HSVCC Luncheon “Celebrating Silver Valley” from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. 2018 will see the 20th Anniversary of the Route of the Hiawatha and the 50th for Silver Mountain. Stop by to hear from Matthew Sawyer and Willy Bartlett and hear more about what the Silver Valley has to celebrate in 2018!
