Christopher “Chris” “Bear” Joseph Capron, 60

Christopher “Chris” “Bear” Joseph Capron, 60, of Kellogg, Idaho, passed away December 8, 2017 at the Deaconess Medical Center of Spokane, Washington. He was born October 1, 1957 in Royal Oak, Michigan; Christopher was the son of Jon and Helen Capron.

Bear married Kathie Carey on June 10, 2005 on the Boise River. Bear and Kathie moved to the Silver Valley in 2011 from Boise.

Bear was a long haul truck driver for Zaycon Fresh of Spokane, Washington.

Bear was a member of the St. Rita’s Catholic Church of Kellogg and a member of the Knights of Columbus 4th degree.

Bear was a ham radio enthusiast. He loved and enjoyed his family and friends. He was full of fun and loved to joke around.

Bear is survived by his wife Kathie Capron of the family home of Kellogg; four children Christopher and Erin Capron of Idaho Falls, Idaho, Sheila Capron of Oregon, K.C. Jon and Cera Capron of Redding, California, James and Amy Valadez of Caldwell, Idaho; sixteen grandchildren; three sisters; several nieces and nephews; three dogs Alfie, Annie and Arlo and one cat Alice. He was preceded in death by his parents and four brothers.

Memorial Services are pending and will be announced at a later date.

The family suggests that memorials may be made to the Knights of Columbus, St. Rita’s Catholic Church, 27 Kellogg Ave. Kellogg, Idaho 83837.
