•Called to the middle school for a fight not in progress. Report taken will be requesting charges.
•Worked on pending cases, finished up some reports.
•Patrolled the High school lunch rush.
•Patrolled the sunny streets of Kellogg.
•Follow-up on ongoing investigation(s).
•Service on vehicle (scheduled for later date/time).
•Report(s).
•Evidence work.
•Found dog 100 block of E. Riverside. Dog was taken to the pound without issue - very friendly, without collar.
•Public Assist 600 block of Upper 3rd - extra patrol requested.
•Dispatched to Pinehurst to assist county with vehicle stopped in the roadway, ended up being a DUI (drugs). Cleared other agency assist.
•Dispatched to Cameron Conoco for a motorist assist. Ended up being someone who had questions regarding a case they had filed. Cleared public assist.
•Extra patrols near 600 block upper third and emerald division.
•K74 was able to get a key made for the evidence locker as K73 kept forgetting.
•Patrol meeting at KPD. At said meeting it was determined that K76 had a Kool Aid mustache.
•Rumor has it that KPD hired a new guy.
•Evidence work and court prep (court got canceled).
•LE meeting in Wallace. Also discussed putting on upcoming training for both Kellogg PD and other local agencies.
•Report work (update and additions to ongoing investigations).
•Report of intoxicated male standing in the roadway near the intersection of Portland and Division - Unable to locate.
•Public Assist 500 block of W. Mission.
•Patrolled Kellogg and Wardner.
•Traffic stop at Rail road and North division for no headlights on-clear verbal.
•Land line request regarding dog in pound.
•Landline request regarding a pig- wants to speak with K71 regarding the ordinance.
•Courtesy ride for some kids whose car broke down in our parking lot to their house on brown.
•Called to the 500 block of w mission for some questions regarding a fence- clear public assist.
•Assist county with citizen contact. Male subject approached us while we were talking with some individuals. Male subject was a local transient.
•Extra patrol of Emerald division and 600 block upper third and 500 block W Mission.
•Civil paper SERVED on Vergobbi Ave.
•Patrol of Kellogg and Wardner.
•Dispatched to 100 block E Portland for verbal dispute. Found male subject in a room hiding. Male subject had 2 warrants. Male subject was arrested. No more verbal dispute so we thought.
•Dispatched back to same residence for another verbal dispute. Child’s mother had shown up to the residence wanting to care for her child while the father was gone since he was arrested for warrants. Both parties at the residence agreed to be civil until the father returned home. Cleared peace restored.
•T-stop on Hill St and Cameron for stop sign violation. Cleared citation issued for no insurance.
•T-stop on S Division and Mill St for white light emitting to the rear. Cleared citation issued for no insurance.
•Business alarm at 100 block Railroad Ave. No signs of a break in or anything of the such- cleared building secured.
•While K72 was watching for stop sign violations, He witnessed some intoxicated males standing at the intersection of Hill St and Cameron. These males decided that it was a good idea to use the restroom while they were outside..... K72 contacted these males and advised them that Eddie Joes had perfectly well working restrooms and that he was considering citing them for indecent exposure. The 3 males became very apologetic and cooperated to the fullest- cleared verbal.
•Traffic stop for a headlight out on Cameron Ave, the older gentleman who was driving the vehicle also had forgot to put his new registration stickers on his vehicle. K76 gladly helped out and put them on for him.
•Called to a disturbance at silver valley tire, turned out there was a fight involved- cleared report taken.
•Assisted ISP with a shot fired call on the freeway.
•Assisted ISP/Post Falls PD with a Stolen VW Jetta.
•Hit and run report taken.
•Assist Fire with false alarm at Morning Star Lodge. While K75 was there an intoxicated male decided to start trouble with the Lodge Maintenance man. Then thought it would be a good idea to start giving K75 a hard time. K75 repeatedly tried to get him to just go to his room for the nigh. He refused, so said intoxicated male was placed on a detox hold. Instead of waking up in the nice rooms of Silver Mountain, He woke up in F block.
•Extra patrol on Upper 3rd.
•Traffic stop on Cameron Ave for stop sign violation. Cleared verbal.
•Patrolled Kellogg and Wardner.
•Called to the city park for suspicious activity- cleared UTL
•Called to Silver Mountain for a vehicle theft, after taking report a few hours later vehicle was located and suspects that knew of the vehicle were interviewed. The truck was returned to owner.
•Called to E Idaho for juvenile disturbance. Cleared Parenting Assist.
•Domestic at the Longshot. Arrest one adult male. Female gave K73 a wrong name and date of birth and then left. With the help of dispatch K73 was able to find correct name and date of birth.
•Can’t win them all. Skol 10-3.
•Welfare check 300 block of Cedar Ave. Subject was code 4. Cleared other agency assist.
•Traffic stop on Hill St. for broken headlight. cleared verbal warning.
•ATL for stolen 2011 Ford F-150 extended cab Dark Blue in color with Washington plates. Stolen out of Old Town spent most of my shift looking for vehicle. UTL.
•Possible 80-04 driver from Wal-Mart. Located vehicle and followed for driving pattern. The suspect vehicle obeyed all traffic laws and gave no PC to stop.
•Extra patrol Upper 3rd.
•Welfare check 300 block Upper Third. Negative contact.
•Paper service X2.
•Patrolled the cold but sunny streets of Kellogg.
•Welfare check at 600 block of Upper 3rd. Negative contact.
•Called to assist H&W at KMS, case happened in the county and a deputy had already responded to the day of the offence. Cleared Assist.
•Civil Standby on Flume.
•K73 was called to 300 block of E Idaho for an out of control juvenile. He had to break out the big boy voice, but yeah that didn’t work as he was called back to the same juvenile a short time later for doing the same thing.
•Report of an unlawful entry on flume. Cleared Civil.
•Mobile patrols of Kellogg and Wardner.
•2 traffic stops 800-900 block of McKinley - verbal warnings given to Dave Smith employees for not having dealer plates. They were made to turn around and go retrieve the plates.
•Animal complaint 600 block of S. Division - animal(s) on E. Park. Contacted owner of animal(s) and advised of complaint. Dogs are in a kennel during the day and checked on during lunch breaks. Animals are healthy and happy...did not make a peep upon arrival (complaint was whining/yelping during the day). Unfounded.
•Extra patrols on W. Portland/Browns Ranch division. One vehicle seen, license gathered for info. I believe they went up there to let dog run around as there was a dog inside the vehicle.
•Possible No Contact Order/Civil Protection Order Violation - followed vehicle to WalMart and found occupants of the vehicle NOT to be the persons in question. Unfounded.
•Business alarm 700 block of McKinley - employee set off by accident - False alarm.
•Welfare check at 600 Block Upper 3rd. Negative contact.
•Intruder alarm at Mountain Health Care. Cleared false alarm.
•Patrolled Kellogg and Wardner.
•Extra patrol of 600 Block Upper 3rd.Tagged trailers/ vehicles for 48hr removal.
•5 parking tickets issued for parking the wrong way at the curb.
