Catherine Rose Dixon, 61

Beloved mother, grandmother and sister, Catherine Rose Dixon, 61, of Osburn, Idaho, passed away December 13, 2017 at Kootenai Health of Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho. She was born March 20, 1956 in Tucson, Arizona; Catherine was the daughter of Thomas and Dorothy (Atkinson) Whitton.

Catherine attended the Sahuarita High School of Sahuarita, Arizona. She married William Trez Dixon in 1972 in Las Vegas, Nevada; William passed away in 1984.

Catherine moved to the Silver Valley one year ago from Sahuarita, Arizona.

Catherine was a homemaker. She loved and enjoyed her grandchildren, bingo, coloring, macramé and digging for old bottles. Catherine had a great sense of humor and was so loved and will be missed by her family.

Catherine is survived by one son Jason Dixon of Kellogg, Idaho; one daughter Jessica and Jason Haynes of Osburn, Idaho; nine grandchildren; one sister Linda Quihuis of Sahuarita, Arizona; one brother Dave Whitton of Tucson, Arizona; she is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Catherine was preceded in death by her parents, her husband William and one grandson.

Cremation will take place and private family services will be held.
