Lana Turner on the Big Screen at the Sixth Street Theater at 7 p.m. Free to the public and donations are accepted.

Story time at the Osburn Public Library from 11 a.m. to noon, 921 Mullan Ave. For ages 0-5. Singing, crafts, stories, and snacks. Event reoccurs every Thursday.

Pinochle game at the Kellogg Senior Center from noon to 2 p.m. Event reoccurs every Thursday.

Mullan boys varsity basketball at home vs. Highland High School. Tip-off at 6 p.m.

FRIDAY, Dec. 29

First day of Wallace WinterFest at the Center of the Universe. Snowman story time, pub crawl, races, sculpture contest, hikes, live music and so much more. Visit the “Wallace WinterFest” Facebook page for more information.

Live music by Johnny Alan at the Snake Pit from 6-8 p.m. Reservations are recommended. No cover charge.

Live music and dancing at the Kellogg Senior Center from 7-10 p.m. Cut a rug with Jerry and Faith. Support the Kellogg Senior Center and dance the evening away.

SATURDAY, Dec. 30

Vintage Snowmobile Races at John Drager field in Mullan at 10 a.m. Participate by registering at Mullan Trail Gas on Dec. 29 from 5-8 p.m.

Geoff Harvey from the Panhandle Nordic Club leads a cross country ski group from Wallace to Mullan on the groomed Trail of the Coeur d’Alenes at 10 a.m. Bring your skis and join the fun!

Skijoring qualifying rounds in Wallace at 5 p.m.

SUNDAY, Dec. 31

Skijoring Championship rounds in Wallace at 5 p.m.

Snowbike Grand Prix. in Mullan from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Put on your snowshoes and join local author, Heather Branstetter as she guides you on a walking tour of the Pulaski Trail from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

New Years on Silver Mountain. Skiing and boarding until 6 p.m. and extra late tubing 5-7 p.m. Silver Rapids balloon drop and lazy river duck race with a New York countdown at 9 p.m.

New Years Eve dance at the Kellogg Elks from 7-10 p.m. Join the fun and dance to the music of “Remember When.” New York New Years Eve countdown.
