KPD Roll Call Dec.19-27

•Mobile patrols of Kellogg and Wardner.

•Parking ticket issued 500 block of Main in Wardner.

•Assist with reporting system (verifying reports).

•Finished reports.

•County assist in Walmart parking lot for 1205 during traffic stop. Cleared other agency assist.

•County assist on commerce loop for 1205 for a potential burglary in progress. Cleared unfounded/other agency assist.

•Traffic stop on Railroad Ave. for a headlight out.

•Assist a motorist stuck up Sierra Nevada.

•Assisted 1226 on a traffic stop with that same motorist that was stuck on Sierra Nevada.

•Called to the 400 block of Bunker Ave. for threats- unfounded.

•Animal complaint 600 block of S. Division- attempted contact with RP without success. This is a common complaint that has been unfounded for several years (not a typo). No further action taken and call was cleared unfounded.

•Traffic stop Beryl & Emerald- verbal for high beams and expired registration.

•Traffic stop Division and Cameron- verbal for no tail lights (only daytime running lights were currently active).

•Citizen contact at Cameron Conoco- I advised them of expired vehicle registration.

•Stationary patrol 400-500 block of Main in Wardner- all vehicles obeying traffic laws.

•Came upon a parking issue on Elder at Sunset- issue resolved and vehicle(s) moved.

•Dispatched from KPD to Dave Smith for a Hit and Run, K73 had Already taken the report-Cleared N.A.T.

•Traffic stop for a Headlight out on Cameron Ave.- Clear verbal.

•Traffic stop on Bunker Ave. for no headlights on- Clear verbal.

•Patrol of Kellogg and Wardner.

•Assisted county with suspicious male at intersection of Cameron and Division. A male transient trying to bum wifi so he could find a place to go to. Provided courtesy transport for male to friend’s house to stay there for the night.

•Assisted county with traffic stop on 1 block of E Cameron. 1205 located a green leafy substance otherwise known as Marijuana. Once 1205 finished searching the vehicle I provided a courtesy transport for a male juvenile to his house and spoke with his mom. Cleared other agency assist.

•Extra patrol of the residential areas of Kellogg.

•Citizen contact 100 block W. Mission- K76 handled this as RP stated he had spoken with him earlier.

•Unhappy customer at Cameron Conoco. Driver left the establishment in an aggressive manner, spinning the vehicle nearly hitting parked cars. Gone on arrival. While collecting information, Idaho State Police found said driver. He was doing the same things on a roadway in front of 2 troopers...not wise. They stopped him and provided him a ride to Wallace so he could have a moment to contemplate how he drives from now on. Statement was obtained from clerk and turned over to ISP for their arrest. Agency assist.

•Attempted to remove a herd of elk “squatting” in the 2500 block of McKinley. They were having none of it and I was unable to kick them out.

•Traffic stop Railroad and Division- verbal for high beams (fail to dim).

•Suspicious vehicle at the top of Wardner. Company truck doing work on the phone/internet/towers.

•Parking complaint at Silver Mountain- located vehicle and spoke with owner. Arrangements made for staying in the parking lot for the evening and they will be contacting management for further arrangements. Unfounded.

•Possible DUI called in from I90. No infractions occurred in Kellogg, located vehicle and could not establish PC for possible DUI related. Unfounded.

•ATL on possible 8004 driver. Driver was located by K74 in Silver Mountain Parking lot. Driver appeared to not be under the influence. The RP had managed to track me down as well and informed me that he had come close to hitting his vehicle. Doesn’t sound like the suspect driver was driving recklessly intentionally or was under the influence of anything. Cleared unfounded.

•Citizen contact near long shots. Male was walking to gas station to get something to drink....in shorts..... cleared citizen contact.

•Called to the 200 block of W Cameron for an unlawful entry, employee called it in. After manager got there, she believes the damage done to the door frame (very minimal) was from a previous incident- cleared unfounded.

•Patrolled Kellogg and Wardner.

•Traffic stop on Bunker Ave/I90 on ramp westbound for speed and following too close- cleared verbal.

•Traffic stop for stop sign violation- clear verbal.

•Motorist Assist in front of the PD, a gentleman carrying a bunch of steel on his trailer came over while he was driving (the hold down straps broke) Dave Smith helped him load the items back onto the trailer with their fork lift and had new straps brought to him.

•T-stop on Hill St. into Avista parking lot for non-working tail lights. Cleared verbal.

•T-stop on Railroad Ave. in front of longshots for 1 non-working headlight. Cleared verbal.

•Arrested female subject for FTA Warrant. Cleared arrest.

•Assisted county with vehicle trying to elude deputies. Cleared other agency assist.

•Parked vehicle was halfway parked into the roadway in 200 block of E Idaho. Had RO move vehicle.

•Contacted an adult male while on the early morning patrol, said adult male had a felony warrant out of Kootenai- cleared arrest.

•Motorist Assist on Bunker Ave.- Helped out some lost travelers.

•Motorist assist at Galena Ridge and McKinley Ave., He was parked in the roadway and was advised to pull off the road if he wanted to enjoy the sunshine.

•Called to Condos on Ohio Ave for marijuana complaint. cleared unfounded/ NAT.

•Bar check at Dirty Ernie’s. All was well.

•SKOL 12-3

•ATL on man in red suit entering houses through chimney. Unable to locate.

•Patrolled Kellogg and Wardner.

•Agency Assist at Amy Lynn’s apartment. Felony warrant search for an adult female. Cleared negative contact.

•Citizen contact on Cameron Ave. Cleared NAT.

•Citizen contact at Cameron Conoco. Cleared NAT.

•Called to Stein’s for a bad check. Looks like checks stolen in Montana and used here in Kellogg. Suspect already in jail on a domestic charge. Called Missoula County Sheriff’s Office to try and get more info on the victim. Follow up to continue.

•Parking citation Riverside and Hellen.

•Evidence work.

•Dog placed in pound by County.

•Attempted warrant service, 100 block of E. Portland- negative contact.

•Parking ticket issued 400 block of Main in Wardner.

•Domestic all on Ohio St. Adult male arrested.

•Would like to welcome Patrick Rowe (otherwise known as 1112) to KPD, he will be the new K77. If you see him out and about welcome him aboard and give him a wave....... or donuts.
