Sarah Rose McFeeley, 16

Beloved daughter, granddaughter, niece, cousin and friend, Sarah Rose McFeeley, 16, of Pinehurst/Kingston, Idaho passed away peacefully on January 30, 2017 at her home. She was born on December 10, 2000 in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho; Sarah was the daughter of James McFeeley and Chrystal (Hollenbeck) Moore.

Sarah lived in the Silver Valley all of her life and attended Kellogg High School as a 10th grader.

Sarah was a joyful light in the world. She was an active participant in her school and Special Olympics. Some of Sarah's favorite activities were bowling, snow shoeing and every Special Olympic outing and sport she could join. She loved parades, color guards, dances, celebrations and rides. Her exuberance and warmth were well known in the community. The love and acceptance of Sarah's community brought her joy. Her gentle laugh and excitement for life will be missed. Her family is grateful for being loved by this precious young lady. Sarah’s passing will leave a great void for her parents and everyone who knew and loved her.

Sarah is survived by her parents Jim McFeeley of Kingston and Chrystal and Bryan Moore of Pinehurst; her grandparents Jerry and Ramona Hollenbeck of Pinehurst and Clarence and Betty Moore of Smelterville; her uncles Eugene (Christi) Hollenbeck of Kalispell, MT, Patrick (Jeanne) McFeeley of Jupiter, FL and Butch (Lori) Moore of Nevada; her aunts Emmie (Kevin) Cunningham of Hayden Lake, ID, Eileen (Jerry) Cincimino of West Nyack, NY, Janet (Pierre) Hebert of Wynnewood, PA, Christine Vaughan of Yardley, PA, Nancy Mirfin of Delran, NJ and Karen (Mark) Edwards of Montana; and her great-aunts Margaret Conboy and Betty Gross. She is also survived by many beloved cousins, extended family members and friends. Sarah was preceded in death by her grandparents, Juanita Hollenbeck and Edward and Margaret McFeeley.

A visitation will be held on Friday, February 3rd from 4:00-7:00 P.M. at the Kellogg Funeral Chapel in Kellogg, Idaho. There will be a Funeral Mass on Saturday, February 4th, 11:00 A.M. at St. Rita’s Catholic Church in Kellogg with Father Jerome Montez officiating. A luncheon will be held in the church fellowship hall following services and all are invited to join the family.
