Larry was given the gift of life, and now he has given it back. This is hard, but he was a lucky man, who led a lucky existence, and we are grateful we got to spend several years with this amazing man. Larry Eugene Darling, 67, of Silverton, Idaho, passed away February 1, 2017 surrounded by his loving family. He was born August 4th, 1949 in Wallace, Idaho. One of Larry's greatest accomplishments was serving in the U.S. Army and being a part of the Vietnam War. He fought proudly knowing he was fighting for American privileges, freedom and everyone's own beliefs. After returning from the U.S. Army Larry met and married Jo Mullins where they were brought together at the Methodist Church in Wallace, Idaho. Together Jo and Larry raised three beautiful daughters.

Larry had a passion for R.C Planes, helicopters and trucks. He loved building and flying all different types of aircrafts. He also enjoyed living in such a beautiful area and loved spending time in the great outdoors. He loved to hunt, fish, camp, go jeeping, waterskiing, snow skiing, and gold panning. Larry was also a certified scuba diver and a member of the Osburn VFW along with the CDA Jeeping Club. Larry was truly a family man and loved nothing more than spending time with all of his family, especially his grandchildren.
