Christine Angela Sawyer, 54

Christine Angela Sawyer, 54, of Osburn, Idaho, passed away February 3, 2017 at the family home of Osburn. She was born December 9, 1962 in Wallace, Idaho; Christine was the daughter of John L. “Bud” and Uarda (Miller) Travis.

Christine has lived in the Silver Valley all of her life.

Christine had worked for a saw mill in Post Falls, Idaho; she then later worked for different logging companies including Miller Logging.

Christine loved and enjoyed camping and collecting artifacts.

Christine is survived by her father John L. “Bud” Travis of the family home of Osburn, Idaho; three children Brandon Thor of Osburn, Idaho, Dustin Walkenshaw of Wallace, Idaho and Starla Sawyer of Palouse, Washington; three grandchildren Tallon, Avery and Madison; one brother Dan Travis of Coeur d' Alene, Idaho; one sister Loretta Travis of Osburn, Idaho; she is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Christine was preceded in death by her mother Uarda Travis, one brother Carl Travis and one grandson Lennox.

Funeral Services will be held at the Church Of God of Wallace, Idaho on Saturday, February 11, 2017 at 10:00 A.M. with Rev. Joe Crowley officiating. Interment will be held at the Osburn Cemetery of Osburn, Idaho.

The family suggests that memorials may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1000 Dept. 142, Memphis, Tennessee 38101-9908.
