Earl “Bud” Ross Fulton, 82

Earl “Bud” Fulton 82, of Pinehurst, Idaho, passed away February 3, 2017 at the Hospice House of North Idaho. Bud was born May 23, 1934 in Fort Meade, South Dakota. He was the son of Earl Victor and Atha (Orr) Fulton.

Bud moved to the Silver Valley at a young age from South Dakota. Bud joined the United States Air Force and served from 1952 to 1956. He began his career in the military as a helicopter medic before transferring to weather watch. After returning to the United States Bud was united in marriage to Alice Ann Dossett in 1956 in Coeur D'Alene, Idaho.

Bud's first job was as a milk truck delivery driver for the Sinamaci farm in Pinehurst, then Bud went to work for the Bunker Hill Mine as a Truck driver. He later went on to open his own upholstery business which he named Bud's Upholstery. He also ran a craft business with his wife named A&B Crafts and lastly opened Bud's Small Engine Repair.

When Bud wasn't working he could be found fishing and hunting. He loved making fishing trips to Canada and hunting pheasants with his brother in Lewiston. Bud was also know to go square dancing with Alice on the weekends. He was also a member of the Shoshone County Sheriff's Posses.

Bud is survived by his three children Gene (Chris) Fulton of Pinehurst, Idaho, Gary (Janine) Fulton of Pinehurst, Idaho and Jimmy Dossett of Pinehurst, Idaho; two siblings Rodger Fulton and Lilian (Ed) Achenbach; four grandchild Brenda (Issic) Fulton, Christopher Fulton, Mandy (Johnny) Dossett and Brian (Donna) Fulton and five great-grandchildren Dakota, Skylar, Charlie, John Jr. and Meloney. Bud is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Bud is preceded in death by his parents, wife Alice, sister Caroline and his youngest son Rodger.
