Northwest Mine Supply goes back to back

Atlas Copco has recognized Northwest Mine Supply (NWMS) as their top Secoroc Drilling Tools Distributor of 2016.
This award acknowledges NWMS as the top distributor in the United States with the best sales of drilling consumables used in the mining, exploration, quarry, construction and oil & gas markets.
It is the second consecutive year that NWMS has earned the distinction.
“I'm just really proud of the crew that we have here,” NWMS owner Don Berger said. “I couldn't ask for better employees, they get all the credit.”
2016 was a tough year for mine sales, something that sales manager Chad Jefferson acknowledged with both Berger and representatives from Atlas Copco.
“For us 2016 was a little down compared to most years and to be able to do this in a down was really nice,” Jefferson said. “We're looking to have a better year this year, we have a new regime in the White House, one that is little less anti-mining that will help things too, for everyone in the valley. We hope to win it again in 2017 and go back to back to back.”
Atlas Copco business line manager Shawn Cheney was pleased with NWMS's hard work and continued success and highlighted their legacy in the industry.
“For over 30 years, Atlas Copco and Northwest Mine Supply have been partners in the business,” Cheney said. “We have had several changes in the business, but these guys here have always had a presence in the market. Their customers love them, it's pretty evident.”
Jefferson explained why their customer base has done nothing, but grown over the years.
“One of the big thing we strive for is that no one should beat us in customer service, and that is why they keep coming to us,” Jefferson said.
The Secoroc Rock Drilling Tools division of Atlas Copco's Mining and Rock Excavation Technique business develops, manufactures and markets rock drilling tools worldwide.
Its products are used for rock excavation within the mining and construction business for both surface and underground applications.
