Thoughts on Trump, Fox News, and Obama

| February 22, 2017 2:00 AM

I am writing this article on Friday, January 20th, the day that Donald Putin Trump gets inaugurated as the 45th president of the United States, if he keeps his promises, he will do well, but, if he fails, Trump will go to the dump. What I mean is, after four years, the voters will say Adios Mi Amigo. I predict that Donald Putin Trump will have more body guards than any other president in history. You know Why? Everybody loves him. This article is a series of three parts.

I have written this before, the Fox News Channel should be re-named, the Hannity and Oreilly Republican News Channel. It is the most biased, self-centered and radical channel on Suddenlink cable. I have watched it off and on for eight years during Obama’s administration. Fox News Channel has only once given Obama a compliment, which was a 2011 raid that killed Al Qaeda leader, Osama Bin Laden. On the other hand, when you turn your TV to channel 33 (CNN), it is a different ball game; there you have two sides, Democrats and Republicans, expressing their own views, which makes it more interesting. The best one, in my opinion, the one asking questions, Don Lemon. He also tells it like it is.

Now I have another subject. I would like to write about ex-president, Obama. As far as I am concerned, he has been criticized more than any other president that I have voted for. Just before Putin was elected, a man told me that Obama was the worst president in history and said “he never did one thing well,” Well, I have news for that gentleman. I kept some newspaper clippings to prove that something happened when Obama was president. The following is a list of some of his accomplishments.

When President Obama took office in January 2009, we were in the midst of the great depression. The unemployment rate hit 10 percent, a quarter center high.

2015 Had the most home sales in nine years

U.S. service firms grow at fastest pace since October of 2015.

U.S. pickup sales, December 15, 2016, were the highest level since 2007.

Stocks rise to record highs after strong job report.

Auto makers report best U.S. March in 16 years.

General Motors Company posted their highest record breaking earnings in 2015.

Auto sales hit an all-time high in April of 2015

Auto sales hit 14 year high.

A strengthening U.S. housing market has been a boom for the nation’s largest home improvement retailers.

More work, more pay, U.S. workers will become newly eligible for overtime pay under rules issued by the Obama administration.

August 9, 2016, new home builders rebound.

Dow Jones industrial average closes at a record high.

Poll: Improved economic outlook boosts Obama Approval

Stocks finish just short of a record on strong jobs report.

Obama’s Economic Legacy:

Obama will leave behind an economy for stronger than the one he inherited. Unemployment is 4.6 percent, a nine year low, stocks keep setting highs, and additional 20 million Americans have health insurance. The nation has shifted toward cleaner energy sources, natural gas, wind, and solar. So now you know that Obama wasn’t sound asleep like the great republican leader, Sonny Bush. A number of times the federal debt ceiling raised under recent presidents, guess who had the most times, the president who republicans thought could walk on water, Ronald Wilson Reagan (1981-1989) raised 17 times, and the president who a lot of people who addressed him with the N word, Obama, had the lowest number of times, only 4. I have good news for some people that read my articles. This is the last time I am writing an article about politics until I see if Trump and his cabinet keep their promises and give them enough time to see how they perform.
