02/15/17

07:50 Fire crews responded to S. Division St. in Kellogg for a chimney fire. Crews remained on scene until the fire was out and the chimney had cooled.

08:34 Fire and EMS crews responded to the South end of Pinehurst for a male who was hunched over in a running pickup for a few hours with his arm hanging out of the vehicle. The patient woke up as soon as the fire engine approached, it turned out that he was just sleeping.

11:17 EMS crews responded to the North St. area of Kellogg for a patient with difficulty breathing. Patient was treated and assessed on scene and transported to SMC for further treatment.

11:27 Fire and EMS dispatched to North Street in Kellogg for a female who was having a hard time breathing. The patient was sitting out on her front porch ready to go to the hospital when we arrived on scene. The patient was assessed and her vitals were taken. She was transported to Shoshone Medical Center for further evaluation.

12:59 EMS crews responded to Good Samaritan Home in Silverton for a patient that fell and injured her hip. Patient was secured in a position of comfort before being transported to Shoshone Medical Center (SMC).

17:35 EMS crews responded to the Shoshone County Jail for an inmate experiencing chest pain. Patient was assessed and treated on scene with medications before being transported to SMC for further testing and treatment.

18:22 Fire and EMS crews responded to Pine Creek for a vehicle that got caught in the icy ruts and ended up flipped over in the ditch. No passengers were in the vehicle when EMS arrived. Everyone climbed out of the vehicle, and got a ride home from a passerby.

18:28 EMS crews responded to Wallace for patient with difficulty breathing. Treated and transported to SMC.

23:18 EMS crews responded to the Woodland Park area of Wallace for a patient 28 weeks pregnant having contractions. Patient was at risk for premature delivery. Patient was transported to SMC for evaluation before being transported to Kootenai Health.

08:04 Fire and EMS responded to West Mullan in Kellogg for male with dizziness and a cardiac history. The patient was assessed and treated for his symptoms, transported to SMC by ambulance for further care.

13:35 Fire and EMS crews dispatched to Riverview area for a fall. Patient was assessed and transported to Shoshone Medical Center for further evaluation and treatment.

14:50 Fire and EMS crews responded to Bunker Ave in Kellogg for a female with difficulty breathing. The patient was treated for respiratory issues and transported by ambulance to SMC.

02/17/17

08:51 EMS crews responded to Cedar street in Wallace for a patient who had fallen on the ice, possible hip injury. Patient stated she was healthy as a horse and unfortunately slipped on the ice while trying to walk in and complete her yearly taxes. Patient was a trooper while packaging for transport and on way to hospital.

15:28 EMS crews responded to the Wallace Inn for a male patient with possible rib fractures. Patient was treated and transported to SMC for further treatment.

19:19 Fire and EMS crews responded to West Mullan in Kellogg. One person was taken to the hospital by ambulance.

22:25 EMS crews responded to Silver Wood Village Good Samaritan for patient who fell and hit his head. On arrival, patient seemed unconcerned about his injury and was heavily sedated. Patient was snoring loudly. Treated/transported to SMC.

05:14 Fire and EMS crews responded to Bunker Ave in Kellogg. One person was taken to SMC.

07:32 EMS and Fire crews responded to Kingston for a 75 year old female who was experiencing difficulty breathing. Pt was given supplemental Oxygen and taken to SMC for further care.

07:54 EMS crews responded to Smelterville for an elderly female with difficulty breathing. Pt was assessed, given O2, and transported to SMC.

10:18 Fire and EMS crews dispatched to Bunker Ave for difficulties breathing. Patient was assessed and transported to Shoshone Medical Center for further evaluation and treatment.

12:29 EMS crew responded to Cedar St in Wallace for a female with possible chest pain. Upon arrival Pt had no chest pain but did have a blood sugar of 26. Provided Pt with oral glucose and Pt refused transport against medical advice.

12:35 Dispatched to Moon Gulch for difficulty breathing. Patient was assessed and placed on supplemental oxygen. Patient was transported to Shoshone Medical Center for further evaluation

13:23 EMS crews dispatched to Lookout Ski Resort for a male Pt with a head injury. Pt appears to have a concussion and seems to have lost part of his memory. Thankfully Pt was wearing a helmet. Transported to SMC.

15:06 EMS crews responded to Good Samaritan Nursing Home for a Pt with a possible broken hip. Transported to SMC.

17:23 EMS crews responded to a nursing home in Kellogg for a Pt in seizure. Pt was still in seizure upon arrival and was transported to SMC quickly.

19:24 EMS crews responded again to nursing home in Kellogg for a Pt with vomiting and diarrhea. Transported to SMC.

02/19/17

06:15 EMS crews responded to River St in Mullan for a Pt with reported back pain. Transported to SMC for evaluation.

06:36 EMS crews dispatched to Elk Cr Rd in Moon gulch area for a possible death. Patient was assessed and declared have no signs of life present. SCSO contacted, also the coroner was contacted to respond to the scene.

10:16 Fire and EMS crews dispatched to Diamond Ave in Kellogg for a male patient with difficulty breathing. Patient was transported to SMC for further evaluation.

02/20/17

07:55 Fire and EMS crews responded to First Street in Smelterville for a reported male with a medical problem. Patient was assessed and treated for his complaint before he was transported to SMC by ambulance.

08:57 Fire and EMS crews dispatched to W. Cameron for an unknown sickness. Patient was assessed and refused transport.

11:21 EMS crews dispatched to transport a person home from SMC.

12:59 Fire and EMS crews responded to North Division street in Pinehurst for a reported male with abdominal pain. Patient was assessed and treated before he was transported to SMC by ambulance.

2/21/17

03:38 Fire crews responded to the Silverton area for a report of smoke coming from a house. On scene crews found smoke coming from a chimney. The house just put in a new wood burning stove and neighbor saw smoke and called 911. Glad everyone was safe and there was no fire. Crews returned back to the station and went back to bed.

10:13 EMS crews dispatched to assist Kootenai County Fire with a semi-truck accident on Interstate 90. Units were canceled enroute to the scene by Kootenai County Fire as no assistance was necessary.

12:30 EMS crews responded to the Silverton area for a patient with pain in her leg. Crews assessed patient and transported patient to SMC.

13:24 Fire crews dispatched to Smelterville for a gas line rupture. Units arrived on scene to find Avista technician wrapping up repairs to the ruptured line.

18:05 EMS crews responded to the Burke area for an unknown illness. Patient was not feeling well with sore throat and cough. Patient was transported to SMC for treatment. Hope you are feeling better.

20:03 Fire and EMS crews responded to Division St in Pinehurst for a patient possibly experiencing a stroke. The patient was treated and transported to SMC for further evaluation.
