Mary Ann Sauer, 72

Mary Ann (Howe) Sauer, born October 3, 1944 to Harold and Myrtle (Calvert) Howe passed away at Kootenai Health on Friday Feb 17, 2017. She was born in Coeur d'Alene, Id and lived in Cataldo most of her life. Mary enjoyed her family, being outside working in her garden but most of all spending time with her many pets.

Mary worked for the Forest Service for many years and later was co-owner/operator of Ron Sauer Trucking and K Street Fast Lube in Smelterville.

Mary loved all of her family. She is survived by her brother Ed (Claudia) Howe, son Dwight (Barb) Avery, daughters Colleen (Don) Ames and Susie (Mike) McAllister, her grandchildren Krista (Jeremy) Brandt, Ariana Wingfield, Mike (Sarah) Lamphere, Jesse Ames, Kyle McAllister, Amanda (Nick) Avery, Robyn Ames and six great grandchildren. She is also survived by several step children – Jonni Wingfield, Beverly Young, Tony Sauer, Veronica Wuolle, Dusty Sauer and several step grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, infant son Billy Lamphere, Sister Betty Howe, step daughter Paula Williams, step son Brett Sauer, husband Paul Wingfield and husband Ron Sauer.
