Gun owners rejoice, there is now a new source for firearms and firearm accessories in the Silver Valley.

Eminence Arms L.L.C. located in Osburn, Idaho inside the old Osburn video building has given itself a new physical location to accompany its already solid online presence.

Founded by former Lucky Friday mill mechanic Jeremy Martin, Eminence Arms’ Osburn location currently offers an array of different parts and accessories for AR-15s, AR-10s, 1911s, Glocks, and shotguns.

This includes a selection of “80 percent” lower receivers (an unfinished part of a rifle that does not meet the definition of a firearm frame).

They also provide firearm services such as cerakoting and engraving.

Currently, the business focuses on featureless weapon platforms, catering to states with stringent laws on firearm accessories such as California and New York.

In the near future though, Jeremy is hopeful that he will obtain a Type 7 manufacturing license, which will allow the store to sell and work on firearms like a standard gun store.

After that, Eminence will pursue a Type 6 and Type 3 license to be able to offer ammunition, reloading components, and antique firearms with the goal of becoming a “full blown retail store by summertime.”

Teaming up with his brother, CEO Billy Martin, and his son, VP of marketing & sales Zackary Martin, Jeremy explains that he decided to go into the gun business because of his passion for guns and because he is a mechanically minded person.

“This is what I did in my off time,” Jeremy said.

The family owned business also has a deep tradition of military service, stating on their website that, “We are proud of our past, with ancestors serving this country in every war since the American Revolution...”

In addition to emphasis on military and law enforcement, they are also making sure reinvest into the local economy.

“We are putting as much emphasis as we can on local vendors,” Jeremy said.

Speaking of helping out the community, Eminence plans to also acquire their armorer’s license which would allow them to work with local law enforcements agencies such as the Osburn Police Department, the Shoshone County Sheriff’s Office, Kellogg Police Department, and local Idaho State Police troopers.

Jeremy is shooting for a grand opening in the summer, complete with a big celebration for the entire community.
