Pinehurst Days are on the horizon

Pinehurst Days are just around the corner, Aug. 4-6, 2017 to be exact. We would like to encourage businesses, churches, families, clubs, anyone interested, to join in the fun during the parade with a vehicle, float, group or individual participation.

The parade is on Saturday, Aug. 5 starting at 11 a.m. sharp.

Pinehurst Days are sponsored by the City of Pinehurst, Idaho, the Comancheros car club, and the Pinehurst/Kingston Lions Club.

Festivities begin Friday, Aug. 4 with craft booths available at noon.

To register for a booth, please contact Carla Ross at Pinehurst city hall, 682-3721.

Booths are open through Sunday.

Also on Friday, from 5-8 p.m., there will be a steak dinner served at the PK Lions building.

Dinner includes steak, corn on the cob, green salad, watermelon, baked beans and a drink.

Begin your day Saturday with a great breakfast at the PK Lions building from 6-10 a.m.

Craft booths are open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

The Comancheros Car Show starts with registration from 8-11 a.m.

Cars will be shown until the trophies and prizes are announced at 3:30 p.m.

The parade registration begins at 10 a.m. with the parade starting at 11 sharp from the Pinehurst Elementary school.

Please plan to arrive a little early to make sure you have time to register for prizes.

Real Life Ministries is planning an outside, family friendly movie at around 9 p.m.

Sunday, there will be a BMX bike race.

Sign up from 9-10 a.m.

Racing starts at 10 a.m. at the BMX race track.

Parents or guardian must be present for registration and of course helmets are required for every racer.
