Wednesday, July 12

- Simple Nutrition Class series at 7 p.m. for 21 and over. French Gulch Farm and Garden, 240 West Fork French Gulch, Kingston. Lead by Silver Valley Registered Dietitians, Tisha Whatcott and Emilee Kulin.

- “Build A Better World” Summer Reading Program at the Osburn Library. Ages 7-10 from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Ages 11 and older from 3 to 4 p.m. Join us for reading, crafts, model building and prizes.

Thursday, July 13

- Coeur d’Alene Summer Theater offers free tickets to local veterans to attend the show “South Pacific” at the Kroc Center, sponsored by Syringa Networks and the Simpson family. 150 tickets are available to attend this award winning performance. - Author Sneed Collard III comes to the Mullan Library at 5 p.m. His visit is part of the Children’s Summer Reading Program. He will be speaking in the basement of the Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Mullan. Everyone is welcome.

- The Fainting Goat, a wine bar, will host “Dinner and a Book,” a reading By Dr. Heather Branstetter from her new book- “Selling Sex in the Silver Valley, A Business Doing Pleasure.” The event is 6-8 p.m. at 516 Bank St., Wallace.

- Live music at the Snake Pit from 7 to 9 p.m. Enjoy an outdoor concert featuring Dr. Phil & the Enablers.
