Thank you, Mullan!

I wanted your readership to know what a wonderful experience my husband and I had last Friday afternoon (7/14) when we took a break from traveling across Montana at Mullan. Our first stop was at Mullan Trails where Danielle King and Kresta Gribble kindly rang-up our purchases. We ate our picnic lunch at your nicely landscaped city park on the corner of Earle & 2nd Streets. Although it was a 90+ degree day, it was most comfortable sitting in the shade with a cool breeze blowing. Our next stop was at the Mullan Swimming Pool where lifeguard Terran Dykes greeted us with a big smile. After lap swimming in your nice pool (a great facility for your community), we stopped at the Captain John Mullan Museum where Cathy Hendrix gave us the most informative and interesting tour. Her husband, Jim, was also volunteering there, explaining how silver was mined to another couple. What a treasure that museum is!

We left Mullan with a warm feeling inside!
