Talk about unique and flavorful.

North Idaho Mountain Brewing’s seasonal Raspberry Wheat (6.0% ABV, 25 IBU) is one of those rare beers that can appease both beer drinkers and non-beer drinkers alike.

Crafted as a wheat ale that is 50/50 malted barley and wheat, hints of a crisp lighter beer are prevalent.

The real story of this beer though is its perfect balance of raspberry flavor.

Many traditional beer drinkers may take pause with the pink color and the fruity flavor before trying it, but don’t be dissuaded, this is no wine cooler.

Made with 126 pounds of real raspberries prepared by Oregon Fruit Co., the raspberry flavor is subtle enough to not overwhelm the palate with sweetness, but strong enough to give the drink a pleasant taste with an equally pleasant finish.

Since North Idaho Mountain Brew only creates a limited supply, the Raspberry Wheat will only be available for another month or two.

This beer is perfect for this time of the year and beating the heat, so don’t miss your chance to taste this local summer time favorite.
