Landslide leads to road closure on the St. Joe Ranger District

Avery- The Idaho Panhandle National Forests has issued a temporary road closure on National Forest System Road #1936 (Daveggio Creek Road) in Shoshone County for public health and safety due to a landslide on the downhill side of the road.

The slide is located at milepost 1. Daveggio Creek Road is 12.5 miles west of Avery, Idaho off the St. Joe River Road (Forest Highway 50). Then turn left on Marble Creek Road (NFSR #321) for 8.7 miles. For information specific to this closure, please contact the St. Joe Ranger District at (208) 245-4517.
