Joseph 'Albert' A. Jackson, 84

Beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, great-great-grandfather and brother, Joseph “Albert” A. Jackson, 84, of Pine Creek, passed away June 12, 2017, at Kindred Nursing & Rehabilitation — Mountain Valley in Kellogg. He was born April 25, 1933, in Independence, Kan. Albert was the son of Glen and Eva (Ross) Jackson.

Albert moved to the Silver Valley in 1952 from Kansas. He married Cloris “Elaine” Maxson on Dec. 18, 1952, in Kellogg, Idaho. Elaine passed away on Feb. 29, 2012.

Albert had served as a truck driver delivering furniture. He then worked at the Kellogg Transfer Saw Mill near Enaville.

Albert loved and enjoyed his family, his Harley motorcycle, telling stories and woodworking — he made beautiful clocks and tables.

Albert is survived by eight children, Cindy and Sonny Straw of Pinehurst, Idaho, Sue Agullo and Stan Baldwin of Kingston, Idaho, Sandy and Bob Sharp of Pinehurst, Shelly and Johnny Hopper of Pinehurst, Andy Jackson of Pinehurst, Tony and Tracy Jackson of Haysville, Kan., Bill and Thea Jackson of Pinehurst, and Scott Jackson of Pinehurst; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Paul and Carl Jackson of Kansas; and five sisters, Retha, Lorene, Carolyn, Shirley and Thelma, also all of Kansas. Albert is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Elaine; two children, Terri and Robert; and two sisters.

Memorial services and a celebration of Albert’s life will be held and announced in August.
