KPD Roll Call 6/13-6/20

| June 21, 2017 1:39 PM

•Called to rolling domestic around the Radio Brewing area. I located the vehicle around Cameron. Not a domestic but a couple enthusiastically looking for their lost dog. Dog was later located by the graveyard clerk from Fairbridge on her way to work. The dog was returned to its people.

•Multiple people in multiple parks asked to leave as it was dark and the parks close and dusk.

•Called to a impromptu Firework show on Cameron Ave. There were hundreds of explosions. Large arterials being launched in all directions. It was one heck of a show. Unfortunately the impromptu show was because a trailer full fireworks was on fire. K77 evacuated the block and provided traffic control for the fireman. The Firemen had to dodge, aerials as they put out the blaze. Like I said it was on heck of a show. The driver of the truck and trailer was quick thinking as he was parked at the gas station to fill up with fuel when he noticed smoke coming from the vents and quickly pulled the moving firework show to a safe location. Because of his quick thinking, no other structures were involved and no one was injured by the projectiles thrown from the burning trailer. Nickerson Towing was called to clean up the aftermath. Looks Like Kellogg gets two firework displays this year.
