Brandon Alexander Thor, 36

Brandon Alexander Thor, 36, of Osburn, Idaho, passed away June 22, 2017 at the Shoshone Medical Center of Kellogg, Idaho. He was born January 25, 1981 in Silverton, Idaho; Brandon was the son of Kurt Thor and Christine Travis.

Brandon has lived in the Silver Valley all of his life. He attended schools in Wallace and Kellogg. While in school, Brandon was a member of the Wrestling team and after High School he enjoyed boxing.

Brandon had first worked in the concrete business and lastly had worked for a landscaping company of Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho.

Brandon was a member of the Church Of God of Wallace. He loved and enjoyed fishing, camping and playing his guitar.

Brandon is survived by his father and step-mother Kurt and Gigi Thor of Pinehurst, Idaho; one child Talon Thor of Spokane, Washington; his maternal grandfather John “Bud” Travis of Osburn, Idaho; his paternal grandmother Sandra Thor of Entiat, Washington; two sisters Starla Sawyer of Osburn, Idaho and Dejah Daniels of Post Falls, Idaho; one brother Dustin Walkenshaw of Wallace, Idaho; his special friend Annette Gordon of State Line, Idaho; he is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Brandon was preceded in death by one son Lennox Thor, his mother Christine Sawyer, his maternal grandmother Uarda Travis and his paternal grandfather Gustav Thor.

Funeral Services will be held at the Church of God of Wallace, Idaho on Thursday, June 29, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Joe Clower officiating. Interment will be held at the Osburn Day Cemetery of Osburn. A reception/luncheon will be held in the Church Fellowship Hall following services.

The family suggests that memorials may be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1000 Dept. 142, Memphis Tennessee 38101-9908.
