Mary Jane Walkenshaw, 79

Longtime resident of Kellogg, Idaho, Mary Jane Walkenshaw passed away June 8, 2017 at the Schniedmiller House in Coeur d’Alene. She was born September 24, 1937 in Argonne, Wisconsin to Ovey and Elizabeth Bailey. Mary graduated from Kellogg High School in 1955.

She is survived by her two sons, Ron Smiley and Paul Walkenshaw of Kellogg; her grandkids Denise Smiley, Tori Smiley, and Dustin Walkenshaw; her sisters Elsie Mutch of Osburn, Louise Guilbault of Coeur d’Alene, Patty Feuschel of Osburn and Josie Lancaster of Kellogg; her great grandkids Dominik, Brittany, Isaiah, Kali, Perla, Caitlin, McKenzie, Joseph, Maddison, Avery, Aspen; her great great grandkid Luis, and her dog Max. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Tom, and son Mark Walkenshaw.

The family wishes to thank the staff at Silverwood Good Samaritan and Hospice of North Idaho.

Services will be held July 1, 2017 , 9:00 A.M. at Christian Cornerstone Church in Osburn with Pastor Cody Karst officiating.
