Judith “Judy” G. Patrick (George), 78

Beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend, Judy G. Patrick, 78, of Osburn, Idaho, passed away June 26, 2017 at the Mountain Valley Care & Rehabilitation of Kellogg. She was born February 19, 1939 in Wallace, Idaho; Judy was the daughter of James and Rose (Linhart) George.

Judy was born and raised in the Silver Valley and spent most of her life living here except for a few years of high school in Spokane. She graduated from the Kellogg High School in 1957.

Judy met Gary Patrick at the Silver Jubilee on June 14, 1958. On August 30, 1958 they were united in marriage at the United Church of Christ Congregational in Wallace. Together they had two children.

Judy enjoyed entertaining many friends and family at their home with food, a specialty all enjoyed was her cherry pie. Her hobbies included reading, gardening, playing bridge, going camping and traveling in her RV on family vacations. She also was a big sports fan and loved cheering on the Gonzaga basketball team. Judy was an active member of Beta Sigma Phi and a member of the Friends of the Osburn Library Foundation. Judy worked for 28 years as the Osburn Librarian and retired in 2002.

Judy is survived by her beloved husband of 58 years Gary L. Patrick of Osburn; two children Gary J. (Laurie) Patrick of Wenatchee, Washington and Wendy (Brian) Larson of Lewiston, Idaho; three grandchildren Gracie Patrick, Riley Patrick and Scout Larson. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers William George and Albert George.

A memorial service will be held on Friday July 7, 2017 at 11:00A.M. at the Kellogg Funeral Chapel with Pastor Art Fleming Officiating.
